Casper Parks says:
Unlike other stories of demonic possession, telling their story from a physical plane of existence, Casper Parks takes a bold step across a Perceptional Threshold, and tells the story from the Fallen Angels' reality. Using a vast knowledge of biblical theology and prophecy, he has written non-stop-action, full length novel. No holds barred and straight-out wicked, Casper Parks takes no prisoners.

8 Five Star Reviews for Gemini Rising

Kathryn Kelly is caught in the middle between her son and husband after witnessing a UFO shortly after their move to Arizona. Jason, Kate's husband is an archaeologist studying a newly discovered Anasazi dig in Arizona and does not believe in alien lifeforms. There is mystery surrounding the Anasazi as well. It seems they disappeared off the face of the earth and some people think -- alien's took them.

Kate's sighting escalates the tension between her and her husband as she hates the desert heat of Arizona and misses the fog-laced city of San Francisco. She is haunted by nightmares of a red planet crossing Earth's path and strange names like Anunnaki. All she wants is to escape back to her old life. On the other hand, she loves archaeological digs and getting her fingers dirty repairing clay pots.

A few days later, Kate visits Jason's site where she runs into Noah who it will turn out, is an alien being from the planet Naresh. Noah and his people were sent by the Galactic Counsel to assist Kate and Earth during the crossing.

During the crossing of Nibiru, Kate and Ryan are taken on board the Nekoshta where they await the time to return to Earth. Jason, Kate's husband, is left behind by his own choosing, stubbornly refusing to believe Noah, Kate, and even his own son.

On board ship, Noah and Kate begin a passionate relationship that encompasses them both in ways never imagined. They learn they are bond mates, souls bound together by the Light. Before Kate discovers she's pregnant, she and her son are sent back to Earth to record the effects of the crossing.

Two Lips Reviews gave Gemini Rising a Five Lip Review:

Packed with prophesy, pain and passion; with love, devastation and renewal, Gemini Rising is the memorable introduction to what promises to be an epic intergalactic/interdimensional series that will rock sci-fi readers to the core. This first book is set in the near future in the United Socialist States. America is plagued with many of the consequences that today's conservatives believe we will face if our government continues down its current liberal path. Yet, as frightening as this future world becomes, it didn't once occur to me to put this book down. Simply put, it's one of the most amazing, yet unsettling books I've ever read. For Ms. Carroll, it's a crowning achievement, so masterfully written it can do nothing but win every award for which it's certain to be nominated.

Just published, and likened by readers to books by Nick Hornby.

When Marty Wight splits with his wife and meets up with university friends whom he hasn't seen for ten years, he has no idea of the chain of events he is about to set in motion. He soon finds himself enlisted to `rescue' a mentally ill friend from a failing marriage and to resume his former hobby of caving. And as if this isn't enough, there's his first ever girlfriend, Beth, who shatters his dreams of renewing their relationship when she chooses a sickeningly perfect man as her new partner.

Somehow, all these events conspire to land Marty in a serious predicament: trapped down a vast cave system beneath the Welsh mountains. All his other problems pale into insignificance as he tackles the biggest challenge ever - that of staying alive.

A twisting tale of relationships, music and caves unfolds as Marty attempts to escape from the Cave.

Children In Her Shadow

Only launched one month ago and has one five star rating on and thre on

This challenging first novel follows the life of Ruth who was born in the mining village of Senghenydd in south Wales in the nineteen twenties. Though she leaves the village at the height of the Second World War, she will return many years later with her dark secret.

At the age of seventeen, Ruth leaves home to serve the war effort, firstly in Cardiff and then in Blackpool. But the moment she meets Edward who is on the rebound from Sarah, she is out of her depth and unable to resist his advances.

Troubled and curious, Ruth visits a gypsy who tells her; "In your life you will have the blessing of many children but you will endure lifelong sadness. I can see the life you have yet to live and I warn you now, you will go through life seeing children in your shadow." She warns Ruth; "You will walk many paths in your life but before the sun sets every day you will see those children in your shadow."

My novel, Harlem Redux, has 25 five-star reviews.

It is 1926, the heart of the Roaring Twenties, and Harlem is the place to be. Years after dropping out of Harlem society, David McKay, a handsome lawyer from a prominent family, returns home, devastated by the inexplicable suicide of his sister Lilian. He is unnerved to learn that she had married in his absence, and that her husband is now claiming ownership of the family home. And as he becomes immersed in unraveling the mystery of Lilian's secretive behavior, traveling from the wealthy salons of Renaissance Harlem to the crowded tenements of its poorest inhabitants, David also finds himself confronted by his own crippling secret -- one that could redeem or destroy him.

This gripping 1920s murder mystery, taut and lyrical, combining elements of the suspense and hard-boiled genres, evokes the mystique of Harlem's most fascinating era. Absorbing and powerful, Harlem Redux combines incisive comment on race and class with a tragic tale of unrequited love.

Please give the book a chance -- I'm sure you'll be happy you did.

A quirky hysterically hilarious read that is down and dirty!

The steamy, very descriptive sex in No Lady and Her Tramp puts Harold Robbins' books to shame. The one thing Mr. Robbins' books did not have is the humor that illuminates in this work of art.

No Lady is one woman's accounting of the trials, tribulations, and antics of her life, and all of the other colorful characters (some even use the politically incorrect term of trailer trash to describe them) who live in President Park, a run down trailer park in Grapevine, Kentucky.

You may find the palms of your hands sweat, among other things, from the titillating sex that fill the pages. You will also find yourself laughing aloud, as humor runs consistently throughout the book.

These two authors, Kristie Leigh Maguire and Mark Haeuser, by putting their talents together, have written a very funny book laced with pure, unadulterated steam.

Here's the one with more than 5 x 5* in US, and also in UK.

Likened to The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and Second Glance by Jodi Picoult

Do you believe you've lived before? Julia does. Since she was a child she's had dreams, memories and visions of what she believes are previous lives.

She doesn't pay much attention to these flashbacks until her grown-up son dies and, at the same time, she's suspended from her job as a doctor. With her present day life - including her marriage - falling apart around her, Julia turns to her past lives as an escape.

For the first time, she meets someone whom she recognises from a previous existence. She is drawn to get to know him. But while, in the past, he was her teenage sweetheart, in this life he's a murderer. Present and past entwine, culminating in a dramatic conclusion.

Set in Nottingham and Lyme Regis.

The Girl on the Swing

Also by this author, a tale of relationships and caves

MH Sargent says:
My book Seven Days From Sunday currently has received 28 5-star customer reviews.

The thriller begins when a beautiful young Iraqi woman, kidnapped by a terrorist, escapes his clutches and goes to the Americans inside the Green Zone for help. But instead of protecting her, they ask her to go back to the terrorist and do as he asks. Why? Because they know he is planning a devastating attack in the next few days and time is running out on finding out what the attack is and stopping it.

That, and the fact that all is fair in love and war. And we are at war.

Here is what one customer wrote, giving it a 5-star review: "I can highly recommend this book. It is well constructed, very timely and hard to put down. It is written as a thriller (and meets that goal), but it includes lots of content from the perspective of contemporary Iraqi civilians and presents what appears to be a revealing view of life in the post-Saddam world. Well worth the time."
