The science fiction retro short, Tomorrow Girl (Tales of Tomorrow Girl), is available to download for FREE for only one more day!
1962 Hollywood, a retro starlet, mysterious male strangers, cocktails, visionary dreams, emergent psychic powers and a climactic showdown at the Griffith Observatory.

Everything in Stella's life was going perfectly. Except for the strange dreams, the weird accidents, the premonitions and the voices in her head. Plus she was single and couldn't seem to meet a decent man in all of Los Angeles. You would think a rising Hollywood starlet in 1962 wouldn't have such trouble! When two opposing Hollywood agents appear out of nowhere, aggressively seeking her as their client, her troubles multiply...as do the latent psychic powers within her. A 10,197 word short story.

If you enjoy the work of classic authors like Fritz Leiber, Alfred Bester, Cordwainer Smith, C.L. Moore and Ray Bradbury, you'll enjoy this tale.

L. M. Boelz says:
For me this book brought back memories of growing up and being afraid of the dark. Mostly things hiding in the closet or under my bed. I was thinking after reading the first chapter or two, my nine year old daughter might like this book. After reading further into it there is no way I am giving it to her. She will want to sleep with me in my bed. I was able to picture myself in the scenes they were well written. One thing I did really like was the lack of foul language I did not miss not seeing any in here. I would have to say the only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating was because the ending was out of my comfort zone. I am looking forward to seeing what else this author has to offer.

Ian Fraser says:
-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~-=~~
"...a mix of Alice in Wonderland, Pan's Labyrinth, 2010, Clockwork Orange, and Inception."

In Arabella Abides, award-winning writer Ian Fraser combines romance, history, fantasy, adventure, and a taste for mind-bending philosophical speculation in the tradition of Philip K Dick, Umberto Eco, and Haruki Murakami.

At the end of the 19th century, a young heir of a famous Cooking Guild, Arabella, is trying to escape from a menacing castle in the Carpathian mountains and her impending arranged marriage to a sinister Count.

In a parallel universe, another young Arabella, a product of a dystopian society, awakens from hyper-sleep aboard a starship headed toward an unknown destination.

Arabella Abides is a literary puzzle that slowly takes shape through multiple storylines and over hundreds of years, bringing the two heroines together. Wild as a video game, this is an adventure on an epic scale.

The book is available in three separate parts, or as one gigantic read.

Arabella Abides (Book One) Arabella Abides (Book Two) Arabella Abides (Book Three)
or Arabella Abides (The Complete Trilogy)

Gaspar The Thief

Gaspar The Thief is a new humorous fantasy adventure by British author, David A. Lindsay.

There's no reviews on Amazon yet, but it's received three 4 Star reviews at Goodreads, plus it's neither a short story nor a novella - it's a full-length novel of 126,000 words. Here's the blurb:

Follow the adventures of Gaspar, a freelance thief who stubbornly refuses to swear fealty to the Thieves' Guild.

Cursed with a special affinity for calamity and mishap, and a talent for snatching defeat from the brink of victory, our unlikely hero blunders from one misfortune to the next, yet somehow always manages to survive to tell the tale.

Gaspar and his companions - Hubris, a spellbroker who refuses to pay his dues to Wizards' Hall, and Marna, a feisty thiefess with a quick tongue and a quicker temper - possess an unlucky knack for converting adversity into catastrophe. From a funeral ship to a poisonous seductress, from a goblin army laying siege to an ancient border fortress to a mischievous wood-wight, there's no end to the trouble they get themselves into!

Thanks for the opportunity to post, and thanks readers for using your valuable time to read about my books.

THE CURSE - Karla Stevens, the main character in this novel, agrees with Vauvenargues that there is nothing that fear or hope does not make men believe.

In this approximately 72,500 word novel, sixteen-year-old Karla Stevens struggles with depression, first love, and Christian faith. Her changing feelings toward Chet, the overseer of her father's farms, complicate her life even more. After all, Celia Daniels, owner of the local cafe, does claim Chet as her boyfriend. Also, Karla knows her parents would strongly disapprove if they knew she had romantic feelings for Chet. Then there's Marcy who looks white but has a black mother. Because of Marcy, Karla has always detested prejudice in others, especially Mr. Walker, her best friend's father. As time goes by, Karla discovers a family secret that teaches her that she is also prejudiced. If you like realistic fiction and a cleanly written love story, you should enjoy this book with its 1963 southern setting. Because of the role of adults in this novel, this novel will appeal, not only to teens, but also to adults of all ages. Kindle price $2.99.

Anyone interested in good old fashioned fantasy? Do you like quest stories? Ones with heroes and villains, life and death, orcs and elves, mages and knights? Well I have two stories for you!

Endings (Saga of Loralil Greyfox) is the story of a young elf woman who sees her family slaughtered and her village destroyed. Her only remaining relative is Mika Silvershaft, a warrior who rides to her rescue. Will he find her? Will she still be the innocent young elf he hopes. The first in the Saga of Loralil Greyfox.

The Knight Protector is a fantasy romance. Knight Protector Yasha meets and falls in love with the Bard Elinor but their time together doesn't last. Dark Mage Hargon hates Yasha and will do anything to destroy him. He kidnaps Elinor and uses her as bait. Can Yasha and his companions get to her before Hargon drains away her music, her power and her life?

The Dancing Boy
Ex-soldier Tom Gillet returned to Afghanistan to search for the boy who saved his life. He was stunned by the complexity of the challenges he faced.
Far beyond the corridors of official power, he entered into a maze of corruption, betrayal and child sex slavery. He found that evil threatened his life. He found an evil so profound that it threatened everything he cared about.

All In
Carla wanted to be rich and wear nice clothes. Not much wrong with that, provided she could move on from a troubled past. Her way out was playing high stakes poker, using Fat Yang as her mentor. Trouble is, it wasn't a game of cards Fat Yang had in mind for her. It was something far more dangerous and life threatening. Fortunately for her, she discovers his intentions, and begins to hatch a plan of her own.

Enjoy your evening.

Brief Synopsis:
In 1995, the CIA and FBI jointly discovered secret plans to recover a trove of priceless treasure from deep below the North Atlantic Ice Barrier, aboard the RMS Titanic. An ultra-zealous terrorist organization competed against a group of divers, hired by a billionaire oilman, which set off a complex web of international intrigue and suspense. Dr. Cary Parker, Woods Hole oceanographer, archaeologist, and maritime law specialist at the Smithsonian Institute, was recruited by CIA's Colonel Bramson to beat both diving teams to the ship's grave site. And a wave of worldwide terrorism was set into motion at 2077 fathoms, as a rare, priceless book and unrecovered treasure became the primary focus of a triadic search. Parker, challenged the terrorists on his own turf, and what followed was an adventure of legendary proportions.
