No offense dude but that was horrible! Nothing original at all, the opening riff was a blatant Fear Factory rip off, in which I lmao at the jumping up and down while playing. Reeeeealllly cliche clean vocals....this is exactly why christian metal has no redeemable qualities. I rest my case but if you like it man, whatever. Whatever blows your hair back man. ;)

PS love the self righteous video too....

Not a lot, or maybe even any, people on this board care for melodic metalcore or whatever you want to call that music. I'm not really a jerk so I won't bash the band but definitely not my kind of metalcore.

Though Beirne on the other hand, Aeon is some sick stuff.

I've heard of them now. That video was pretty not good. I expect to see these guys on tour with Five Finger Donkey Punch any day now. I fail to see what is amazing about them, but I gave it a try. Blessed art thou.

Five Finger Donkey Punch sucks!! My good friend has been trying to get me to like them for the past year now and I always tell him that they suck. I showed him some Forbidden and Testament and he didn't think much of it. Guess everyone has different taste.

L. Bazan says:
I kind of hate bands that tune down to the brown note with the exception of Meshuggah and Animals as Leaders. Everyone else should try something else. These guys are pretty Hot Topic mall core at best.

"Scream the Prayer tour"

BWAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA that is funny and stupid at the same time

Bobage says:
It's fine if some or all the bands have religious leanings and/or themes, but I do find it really strange to call a tour something like that. It seems that they are seriously limiting their demographic and potential profits in doing so. I would feel similarly about The Celebration of Satan Tour, if such a thing existed.

"The Celebration of Satan Tour"

Is that trademarked?

...If not..Dibs!

Bobage says:
I would feel similarly that they would be thinning down their would be concert going numbers, but I would definitely be there!

L. Bazan says:
In my opinion Satanism in music is just as dumb as Christianity. It just seems to work for metal more so than other forms of music.

Kevin Beirne says:
Subject matter dealing with the Occult, Ancient Sumerian Gods (like Gozer from Ghostbusters), mythical gods of war, evil pharaohs, demonic banshees condemned for all eternity....is awesome. Metal has an inherit dark, sinister, ominous sound and feel to it. The lyrical content that fills that dark expansive void of non-light goes with that flow.

It can be all deep and philisophical at the same time, just heavy duty themes and concepts sound good with metal.

I always thought an ominously brutal version of the Lords Prayer with Flo Monier style drumming and Jason Avery or STeve Tucker on vocals would sound sick as hell....lots of cool imagery in that prayer.... you know...."On Eaaaaaarth..... as it is - in HEAAAAAAAVEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!" insert fills and triplet ride flicks and flying doubles....

Thats the band I originally thought he was talking about...which made the whole Christian tag very confusing

Justin G. says:
I saw a poster for this tour. A lot of "(something) the (something)" and "(something) for my/the (something)" type bands, and it's sponsored by the righteous version of Affliction t-shirts.
