I am stunned. O'Reilly quietly mentioned Michael in the innocent category, was passive about it, probably because he was such a a**** about it before. Maybe Aphrodite Jones had some influence on him. I guess he's being careful how he threw that in since he was so against Michael before. Well at least he seems to be changing his mind.

That Wendy Murphy though is a piece of work, saying those kids were credible. Obviously she didn't care do her homework

Scarlett says:
Isn't it interesting that Murphy didn't mention how credible Janet "I belong in a pysch ward" Arvizo came across to the jury?

As it happens, I'm currently reading "Defending A King" and am in the chapter about the trial. Just this morning I read about IBIAPW Arviso's looney-toon testimony and behaviour on the stand. (I had also read about it in "Conspiracy" when that book was published.) So I've been thinking about all of this today.

O'Reilly changing his opinion definitely gives me hope. It does break my heart though, that Michael did not live to experience the shift in his public image that seems to be happening.

I wonder if there would be a shift in public opinion if Michael were still alive. I would like to think so, that the truth wins out in the end.

It's so nice to have you back posting more! I know you've been busy.

Thanks Scarlett.

I thought of that too, would this be happening if he had lived? I think it would have depended on the outcome of his shows. My more optimistic side thinks he would have blown them all away with his performances. He would have forced them to acknowledge him as the phenomenal artist/entertainer he is and his overall image would have been revived. My more cynical side says that the media would have been all over him during those shows, waiting for him to fail. If there had been one little slip, one cancelled date due to illness or exhaustion they would have been on him like hounds on a fox. They would not have let up on him and we would probably be hearing the same garbage about him.

It's a positive thing, PYT! Did you think you'd live to see the day when Bill O'Reilly would lump Michael's legal oppression in the same category as the bogus McMartin Preschool sex abuse trial?

PYT says:
oh i was watching and I heard them say things like well he is no pop star and lump him in with child molesters and I could not take it. Let me watch it at the point where he is saying good things. I'll try for you LFZ lol. They had my blood pressure up at the first few minutes. Ill try it at 10.30 mark.

Yes, OTHERS did say that, but Bill O'Reilly uncharacteristically shut down that type of talk, albeit not as forcefully as I would have liked. Still, O'Reilly's contribution to the discussion is a 180 turn from his usual condemnatory comments about Michael.

I wonder how much of an influence Aphrodite has had on BO

I only watched the part from 10:30 thank goodness. I wonder too if Aphrodite had any influence on BO. Hey BO, how appropriate, he does stink or at least he used to. I'm not exactly jumping through hoops yet regarding him, but at least it is a start.

I so hope he is being genuine. It's hard to know with him, but I guess time will tell.

Careful LFZ, actually it was me who got deleted. I mentioned that I thought Bill O'Reilly is probably switching gears because he has probably noticed the way the fans are going after Die Demon and he is scared to death. Death wasn't the word I used, it started with "S" so Amazon wiped me clean even though I did use the astericks.

Anyway, as much as I like to see that O'Reilly may be changing his mind, I think it is self-motivated. Somebody got to him, imo. I suppose it doesn't really matter why just that he continues to declare Michael's innocence

LFZ -

Can you prove this? Doesn't seem you can.
Perhaps it's time for you to take another leave of absense. If you are lying that is sad to think you are so desparate to disparage others.
