I know the circumstances of Blanket's birth, too, and I'm not talkin', either.

See? Anyone can say anything because Michael's not here to defend himself. They're all a bunch of leeches.

I didn't actually see it, Danielle. My friend emailed me about it.

Has anyone read this? Who was this doctor to Michael? Does anyone know about their relationship? This is the first I've heard of this book. Has it been out a long time?

J. Leone, the doctor has a facebook page.

http://www.facebook.com/ConversationsInNeverland

Conversations In Neverland With Michael Jackson
This is the cover to a book I've written about the countless conversations I had with Michael Jackson over a period of nearly 5 years from 2001 to 2005. Its' narrative allows the reader to sit in, as it were, and listen to what we talked about in his home and mine and draw their own conclusions about him. This is the Michael that most people probably thought he was but found it hard to verify as media information always seems to be skewed. There is none of that here. Though these are by no means all the conversations I had with him, they are, in my mind, the most memorable.

Jeanann,

I never heard of this book either, usually i'm pretty much on top of things like that, so is my avid reader hubby!!!! , he is quick in finding books!!!!!!!!!

Oh well, it will come out eventually.............

You may have heard by now the jurry went home at 4:13 pm...they won't return until Monday morning, because here in California we are in a budget crunch!!!!!! No week-end! And, I hope we will get a verdict soon, because the judge could tell the jury you have until Wednesday, again because of the budget crunch.........
I emailed Martha when I got a phone call from a relative up in L.A. about this news right away........It may be old news to you by now..........

Love you more,
Danielle

Resa: Were these taped conversations like the rabbi, or just rememberances?

This doctor was one of the nine the authorities investigated after Michael's death. Here is an article about them.

The Kindle is only 9.98 and came out November 1st. I think I'll go ahead and purchase it and see what it is all about.

J. Leone, I don't know if the conversations were taped are not. I also don't know if he had Michael's permission if they were taped conversations.

N.W. - I've read a bit about the new Kindle (Fire) I will have to do some further research on it. I've been putting off getting one of these for some time.

I feel bad for the people who work in book printing...if you know what I mean. Can't go into it too much on here.

means more people out of work, you know, blue collar workers.

Plus, I like having my hard copies of books, I have a collection of books from childhood that I don't want to part with. I'm a bit of a packrat.

N.W. - I'm not putting the devices down. Just sad that they may end 'hard copies' of books in the future.

Seems to be the direction it's going anyway.

more people out of work. my stepdad was a printer 20 years ago, the death knell was sounding back then...

Susie- I don't have a Kindle either. Amazon has a Kindle for your PC which is free. I have set it up and have already purchased Vogel's essay on Earth Song and bought this book last night. You just pay for it on Amazon (after you set up the program on your computer- easy!), and then it is downloaded instantly to your computer. and you will see a "library" on your screen and you just click on the whatever you've purchased that you want to read.

Here are the comments the bodyguards have posted on their Facebook page about their comments on GMA:

MJs Bodyguards
It's amazing how we were interviewed for 50 minutes and ABC aired less than 2 minutes of what we said. What they did not show was the full context of the session. On our watch Mr. Jackson and Murray were friends. If Murray is found guilty then he needs to pay for his negligence.

The Mr. Jackson we knew would not want Murray criminally tried because this is the same system that tried to Crucify Mr. Jackson. WE DO NOT SUPPORT OR DEFEND Conrad Murray, he needs to be held accountable for any negligence. There are many others that should be held accountable for MJ's death. No matter the outcome, Murray will forever carry the cloud of being responsible for the death of Michael Jackson.

AND

MJs Bodyguards
In reference to our recent GMA interview: We are neither in support nor against Dr. Murray. We speak and answer from our own direct personal experience and eyewitness account of the relationship between Mr. Jackson and Dr. Murray. We were there and we speak truth. For those of you that disagree, you have that right. However; keep in mind that as Dr Murray Stands trial we believe there are others that should be held accountable as well. As fans of MJ you know that this situation is much bigger than it appears.

The Media has reported that we support Dr. Murray however the opening statement of the interview is that we insist we are not speaking to defend Dr Murray. You may all interpret that as you wish.

Suze says:
I don't see the state of California prosecuting all of MJ's doctors...it's not going to happen. Too costly, the taxpayers are complaining about the current trial.

On the other hand, the medical boards of the states they are licensed in should certainly do some more investigating.....

Here are some good comments made to the bodyguards:

"You said "We are neither in support nor against Dr. Murray" I guess you haven't been watching the court case closely then when Murrays own words in his interview implicated him IMO, when he admitted abandoning Michael. Correct me if I am wrong but neither of you were in 100N carolwood on the morning of 25th June were you? If not how on earth could you possibly know what that man was and wasn't doing? How on earth could you possibly know what other Drs were doing? Did you read the coroners report and more importantly the toxicology? You said MJ wouldn't want Murray in court...really how could anyone know that, doubt an MJ who was taken from his beloved children would have the same opinion as when you had your direct experience of their friendship. IMO others very much failed in their duty of care but that doesn't excuse Murray, his actions, inactions and lies. What possible reason could you both have for not forming an opinon or doing that interview the moment the jury are deliberating? I do have one last burning question Which Las Vegas bodyguard whose father was a patient of Murray brought Dr Murray into Michael Jacksons life?"

AND

"The fact is the timing is awful, regardless of what your intentions were. If Michael were still alive, Murray wouldn't be in court in the first place.
Michael died under his watch-- or I should say, lack thereof-- which makes Murray criminally negligent and responsible. The evidence is clear, he is guilty, and for you guys to be on TV saying otherwise is unbelievable. Who cares if he and Michael were "friends"? Murray was supposed to be a doctor, and Michael was his patient. He should have gotten Michael the help he needed rather than doing whatever he thought would get him a paycheck. Being star struck is no excuse. When tabloids asked him "how excited are you to put this all behind you", he responded, "can't wait buddy" the day before closing arguments... that doesn't really sound like a remorseful man to me. And even if there are more people who contributed, one person at a time. Your interview was extremely disappointing. You guys demonstrated how little attention you've been paying to facts and the evidence, which makes me wonder what you actually do know about Michael."

The 2 bodyguards who are making these statements should keep their big traps shut till the trial is over...

Instead they are p*mping themselves out to the media, probably for a cash payout.

Susie- Yes, I viewed it. His only saving grace is that it ended with Klein saying, "They're Michael Jackson's children, not mine."

I'm really confused. While Frank Cascio is clearly defending Michael and not excusing Conrat Murder for anything, I wonder why he is coming out with this NOW. Why not wait until after the verdict is reached. I really don't know what to make of it. He says that MJ was a situation addict which if true, I completely understand and feel great compassion, heartbreak, and understanding about it, the timing just urks me and I hope I am just over reacting. Frank has always stood by Michael through everything so I am unsure how to take this.

J., He didn't say "No!" loudly though to deny he was the bio dad... what a creep he is. He has said they are MJ's children before, that is nothing new.

The stuff he's putting on his FB page is psycho talk. He says his 'will' as in last will and testament was changed while he was undergoing cardiac surgery.

He says the medical records (used in the trial) aren't his, and that his civil rights have been violated by the LAPD, Homeland security, the FBI, etc., etc.

Yana, He has a book coming out, he wants people to buy that book....he figures he'll throw out a term like 'situational addict' to get people interested in his book.

I've lost track of how many people have written books on MJ.

Never heard the term, 'situational addict'... I doubt there is such a thing. You're either addicted/dependent on a substance or you're not.

Okay I just googled that and there may indeed be such a thing. But Cascio isn't a doctor, why is he diagnosing MJ.....

He wants people to buy his book to find out more.

I think MJ may make the Guiness Book of Records as the person having the most books written about him.

YANA Girl says:
Maybe Frank is trying to take the attention off of the media's blaming the victim and putting it back on the doctors who are really to blame. The press has gone crazy with the junkie and addiction meme as is basically vilifying him all over again. Situation addict tells me that MJ used medication only when his pain was at it's worst and not like he was using it on a steady basis like the media has said.

The media and the rest of the idiots who claim MJ manipulated Conrat Murray to get his drugs make me sick. I think it's the other way around. Conrat probably gave MJ a sob story about how poor he was and wasn't making a good enough living from his practice and suckered MJ into feeling sorry for him.

Frank did blame the doctors while all the other media pundits were feeling so sorry for "Poor Conrad Murray" so maybe Frank is just trying to tell us that Michael is one who needs the sympathy and understanding instead. At least that is what I hope he means

Suze says:
Yana, I don't what he means by "situational addict" but if MJ only took an opioid for pain on the occasion his back hurt or he had a surgical procedure then that is not an addict.

Whether MJ was an addict, a situational addict, dependent or whatever, Murray should be found guilty. His 17 deviations from standard of care make him guilty.

He doesn't deserve a medical license. Now, from what I have read on the other doctor in CA. (Roberto Bonilla) who was found guilty of involuntary manslaughter for killing his patient in a home setting with lidocaine, he only did 8 months in jail and I read he was eligible to reapply for his license in 2 years....

So, Murray will be back in business before long, I bet.
