It's hard to believe that it has been almost a whole year since we lost the most gentle sweet angel. I remember when I first starting posting here at Amazon, I would never have imagined that I would have met so many wonderful loving and caring people who all felt similar to how I do. I was also surprised at the debts of my grief for Michael as I have never really felt this kind of sadness over the loss of a celebrity before. But as we all know, Michael Jackson was no ordinary celebrity, he was extrordinary.

I am sure that most of us are feeling anxious the closer we get to the 1st anniversary, not that our pain for him will be any different suddenly when the day arrives. For me, and I imagine for most of you, the fact that the media didn't and doesn't report Michael in a fair and unbiased respectful light makes it nerve racking and makes the heartache even more deep.

We of course want to see MJ honored in a true loving way that he deserves without all the accusations and name calling. I would love to see a program that would just appreciate who he was as a performer, humanitarian and as a man.

I think that possibly like Reverand Sharpton said is that the fact that there are so many unanswered questions about Michael's death, makes it hard to memorialize him properly. We want justice and vindication for Michael and as of yet we are not seeing any of it.

YANA,

Even though we've never talked and I really just stay in Cry, I wanted to let you know that what you wrote is beautiful. All so true. So many wonderful people here, showing us that we're not alone. Our love for Michael is as extraordinary as he was... Is. He will always be extraordinary.

I'm very happy that so many specials are on for our Michael tomorrow, but I just hope they're positive!! For God's sake...the man has died. His life is over... Therefore the jokes are over. The name-calling is over. The attention-grabbing headlines and adjectives are over. They never should've been in the first place.

I pray we can all make it possible that justice and vindication happens for Michael. It's the least we can do. And at least WE are honoring him in a truly loving way.

"If you enter this world knowing you are loved and you leave this world knowing the same, then everything that happens in between can be dealt with." Michael Jackson

There have some days I particular mourn of his passing, his quote will be easing my sadness. I think it is part of healing process besides reading threads here. I also do my private vindication, copy some of the positive articles abt MJ and put them in our local post office where has a corner for people drop their old books for sharing. This the only thing I can do it for MJ in return of his music, loves & humilities that he had bought to the world.

Justice & true will be gradually coming out, history will tell how the medias have misled the public & smeared a kind man, shame on them!

Wonderful effort on your part.

Sincere people are genuinely confused and don't know what to believe or think. That's why it's important that people who do know the truth about Michael keep speaking it out. And, quite frankly, young Paris threw the gauntlet down when she made her declaration about her father. Since then many of us have taken it up and are charging forward with what is true about this great, great artist and humanitarian. Don't be weary, just keep going.

Thank you for the encouraging words S. Bryant. I am one of those whose opinion of Michael changed after watching the memorial. I know that in this one year, many people have come to realize there is more to Michael than the lies the media churned out. I hope more will come to know the truth in the days ahead.

S. Bryant says:
What the media has done to Michael is a travesty. But, Michael Jackson will go down in history as a great, great artist and humanitarian. He knew he was making history. That's why he told his own story in his artistry and in the life he lived. It's now up to the scholars and historians to find out the truth and document it for the generations to come. I hope they get it right, because the journalists sure didn't.

Will,

I have underestimated you. I have ignored your posts until today. I made assumption according to responses seen. .

<<First . . . forum trolls are always going to be posting things just to watch you and the rest of the Michael Jackson Community react . . . or overreact.>>>

<<<They say things that are absurd and untrue . . . and then leave the thread.
You cannot defend Michael by attacking others. In any case . . . perhaps a better approach is needed. The mess we have seen in the Music forum seems to have alienated the two sides even further and has caused considerable damage.>>>>

Will I agree with you.

When it comes down to it our love of music and those who make it is why most are here. Debate even heated debate is to be expected, but causing war is not the way. Who knows when either side may need support from the other.

Peace

It's best if you continued to ignore the posts. Will likes to play on both sides of the fence for his own entertainment.

I was going to write something nice about my Angel here today, but since this thread is already polluted again, I will create my own.
Thanks to you Will, you sure need to learn about many things still in your life.
Bless you, maybe you will get there one day.

Will, is the reason you are here because noone has been posting at the music forum today. I was surprised that there hasn't been any activity there but maybe people might have some respect for the situation since it happens to be the anniversary of his passing. I do understand your point and realize that my pointing out the truth to others there has basically fallen on deaf ears. However, there is always a chance that someone on the fence may come there to find knowledge and even without saying so leave with a better understanding of Michael. How are we to know who will and who won't see MJ in a better light?

Actually I think you have a good point with the ignoring of the trolls. Personally I would like to see either the thread disappear all together since people get side-tracked so easily by the trolls or it become a conversation about his music ONLY.

Anyway, this thread was made with the intention of honoring Michael, not a discussion about what to say or what not to say to his detractors. Please Will, with all do respect, please allow us to use this thread for that purpose.

Why did you delete your post Will? I actually thought it was one of your better ones. I edited mine in order to respond to yours better.

I'm pretty surprised MTV chose to ignore doing anything on the anniversary of Michael Jackson's death. Not even play his videos. They must've felt it was either too sad, or they just wanted to pay attnetion to today's current music scene. MTV dissapoints Jackson fans everywhere.
