"Balls In Your Mouth" sung by Jimmy Fallon and Eddie Vedder regarding tar bars in the gulf waters after the oil spill. The recent hurricane has washed some tar balls ashore. WARNING: Once you hear this ditty, it will be stuck in your head.

Jeez Kacee, what the heck are you saying? Even "I" don't get into "that" much trouble and "everyone" hates "me".

I've had a double dose of Jude Law today, in two totally opposite characters. The first was Anna Karenina and the second in The Holiday. Very contrasting roles which shows the depth of range he has. Both were really good.

Speaking of range; his roles in Road to Perdition and Alfie were worlds apart.

Hikari says:
And his Dickie Greenleaf in "The Talented Mr. Ripley". He was nominated for a Best Supporting Actor, and rightly so. He totally stole the proceedings away from the charisma-free Matt Damon.
---
He was darn good in "Sleuth" as well. Acting opposite Sir Michael Caine, I think he totally stole those proceedings also.
---
His Dan in "Closer" was not an admirable character, but there was another example of range. Have not seen "Sky Captain". He was good in "Repo Men". A performance I regretfully did not get to see was his "Hamlet" on stage--he won raves for that.
----
P.S. to add "Breaking and Entering" with Juliette Binoche

He makes a good Watson opposite Robert Downey, Jr. Now, if only RDJ made a good Holmes, we'd be all set. It's less Mr. Downey's performance I abject to as the ridulous actiony-CGI tastic plots that are nowhere in the Sherlock casebook. I like Robert, elsewhere. I just can't get over my feeling that he is completely wrong for Holmes--looks wrong, speaks wrong, too short, etc. Quibbles? Maybe. A short, brawny Holmes with indeterminate (fake) British accent was an interesting idea . . .but why settle for Downey when there's Cumberbatch? Just sayin'.

Mr. Law's on-set nickname among the female PAs is "Hotson". Maybe. I still prefer Martin Freeman. ;-)

Hikari,
Martin Freeman is a big favourite of ours (my daughter, my neice and myself).

I have got a DVD to watch called The Good Night, will try to watch it tomorrow and then rate it.
