RE: Chastity Bites

Sorry I can't help you out with at one.

That's okay. Just curious.

RE: another Coen brothers game

"Inside Llewyn Davis" should be released next month. I believe Jon was going to start a new game after the release. Personally I can't wait for ILD. Should be good times!

Just IMDB's it. Sounds interesting. And I'd watch anything with Carey Mulligan in it. :)

Has anyone seen Chastity Bites? If so, is it worth buying on Amazon?

Dido.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

113 pages later, surely to be one of the most legendary threads in the history of Amazon's Movie Forum.

Thank you Mr. Baker sir! And another huge thank you to the brothers Joel and Ethan. Thank you for showing us the life of the mind.

Thank you to Toby for taking some of the words out of my belated mouth. Sorry to take so long to get back to this thread. It was fun while it was, and so let us try and reconvene at the Fun forum before the year's up.

As they stand currently, our highly irregular and unofficial poll tallies:

1. Fargo
2. The Big Lebowski
3. Raising Arizona
4. A Serious Man
5. Miller's Crossing
6. Barton Fink
7. Burn after Reading
8. O Brother, Where Art Thou?
9. The Hudsucker Proxy
10. No Country for Old Men
11. True Grit
12. Intolerable Cruelty
13. Blood Simple
14. The Man Who Wasn't There
15. The Ladykillers

Not in competition because it's so short: Coen's segment in Paris, Je T'Aime
Not in competition because it hasn't been widely released yet (can't wait!): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2042568/

Until the next formation, and even if I get carried off by a twister 'fore then, thank you all.

The Coenites played their game

I'd like to send a shout out to our fearless leader and game creator. Ta, dude, for the space to be at peace in this wooly world of online mayhem.

I'd like to send a shout out to the Coenites, Coenheads, Commune-ists. Ta, dudes and dudettes, for the friendly game, and the friends made.

Last - but not least - I'd like to send a shout out to the Coen Bros. Simply put: you are so awesome.

Awesome! That is way too cool. I'm very jealous. As a fan of 3D, I would love to see it in 3D. If you go to see it you must let me know how it was. Would Love to hear about it.

Taylor! Oh you were not kidding! Today is definitely my lucky freaking day! Just found out my local theater is showing the 50th anniversary Doctor Who episode in 3D on Monday. How bloody awesome is that? I'm so excited I'm literally bouncing around! God I'm such a nerd =)

"I know the Cows song was made several years before any of the songs off Vitalogy."

That's somewhat true, as Eddie wrote Better Man when he was in high school, but I see what you mean.

I mean, I love Pearl Jam to no end, but after listening to both songs back to back, I can see a sort of similarity. I wouldn't so much call it ripping off (Kurt Cobain openly admitted to ripping off the Pixies for Nevermind), but then again, I don't think Eddie Vedder heard of Cows by that point. So no sir, I wouldn't say your sanity has gone intact... yet...

Then again, Tremor Christ has never been a favorite of mine off of Vitalogy. I prefer Immortality and Spin the Black Circle.

Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special: The Day of the Doctor (Blu-ray 3D / Blu-ray / DVD Combo)

It's your lucky day. :)

I WISH! Smith and Tennant... talk about an excellent pair. The trailer looked phenomenal. Sadly I still live in the land of darkness (ie no cable). It will probably be a year before Netflix has it available.

After the Oz doppelganger wannabe (ME TOO!),

The Ladykillers ~ 37
The Man Who Wasn't There ~ 47

+Lady... First Coen brothers film where Joel Coen and Ethan Coen are both given directing and producing credits.

++Man... Because he trusted the quality of Joel Coen and Ethan Coen's work, Billy Bob Thornton agreed to do the movie before even reading the script.
