Not to take anything away from "The Girl Who..." but how does one dress as Mikael Blomkvist? Adopt an accent and dress Swedish? Lisbeth is pretty distinctive; Blomkvist is a bit of a cipher, an unfortunate literary device. Swedes I've known dress a little better than Americans, not as well as Danes. Carry around a copy of whatever his magazine was, I suppose.
Why not Lisbeth's pain-free psychopathic brother? You could nail bits of flooring to your shoes.
But now to the meat of the issue: which Doctor? Eccleston is probably the easiest, you've probably already got a leather coat in the closet. But your Pertwee or Baker would be more likely to get people to say, "Oh, I get it. The Doctor!"
