After J.B. aylor,

The War of the Worlds (1953) - 5

Head - 5
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - 7
20,000 Leagues Below the Sea - 5
Audition (1999)- 4
The Eye (2002) - 6

Plus Clint puts the Honk in Honky
Minus Audition. Like ALL Takashi Miike stuff, I liked it at first, but after repeat viewings, I'm more like "Urghhhh" about it.

J. Baker says:
I'm ashamed to say I've not seen 'Stir Crazy' yet. Another 'what the hell's wrong with me!?' moment of silence.

Haven't seen the original 'The Eye' either....

OT -- for a grim-yet-aggravating laugh, check the "Another Degree of Separation" thread for the psycho's latest bit of fantasy: claiming she has only downvoted 5 posts in her whole time on Amazon! For the love of Mike, she's downvoted more than 5 of my posts on that very page she told that huge fib on! Not to mention the 500-odd posts* of Hikari's, yours, JB's, mine, just in the past week since the Top Ten thread eruption of the tragic truth about "Kacee". (... * slight exaggeration?)
And apparently the posters there believe her. So I left. Don't need the hassle.
No looking back after tonight. I hope I don't have to hear much more about that creature anymore, who is more insidiously evil than that Lew Archer bozo, I've found.
I may listen to others comments, but I am never going to mention again the two biggest liars I've ever seen online (and that's including Alex Jones, Gordo and Andrew Breitbart!)

Hold me to it bro, because I don't want to be one of those bitter posters who's holds onto a grudge like a rapper holds their crotch. That's no good for anything.

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 1, 2012 4:45:40 AM PST
How could anyone be more evil than Lew?

Oz le Fou says:
Wow. Yeah man, 'Stir Crazy' is a staple, the morning oats, the insomniacs coffee, the junkie's hit, the sex-crazed teenager's Playboy mag!

It was one of my dads faves, and he well and truly passed down that tradition to his boy (along with another Wilder inn the shape of 'Blazing Saddles'). For the record, the old man thought '2001' the greatest film ever made.

'Stir Crazy' is far from perfect. As the prison escape hots up, the laughs do dry up a tad, but the first half of the film is a continual stream of hee-haw. There is a scene with Wilder/Pryor first arriving at prison that is right up there with the funniest stuff I've ever seen; it's written funny, played funny, and sent over the edge by the physical humour brought to the piece by the duo. You can't go wrong laxing to 'Stir Crazy' on a Sundee arvo.

@Kacee
I will hold you to it. If I catch you mentioning her, I'll take you aside for a little chat. When considering her, let a little apathy into your life. It's not like you need to read her shit. What's there? Retread comments about spies in her computer. Phwoars and such about the same actors, over and over. Comments about her daughter and husband (followed closely by comments like ,"My family is none of your business."). Posts about the films she *wants* to watch (I'm not sure if she actually watches anything, making her involvement in this MOVIE FORUM a tad redundant). Nah, seen it all before, no need to see it all again.

Move on, brother. On and up. Doctor Sloan suggests a course of 'Stir Crazy', the sooner the better. It is a FACT* that the duo of Wilder/Pryor have never been better.

*warning: opinions may be masquerading as facts.

Never. Again. If...for no other reason than that. I only wish there was a full Ignore option as on IMDb, with no peeking possible.
