Oz le Fou says:
That's like my neighbour naming their dog Toby. I'm constantly hearing my name yelled from next-door!

Oz le Fou says:
"Actor's Taking Their Clothes Off Like Kate Winslet...Actor's Taking Their Clothes Off Like Kathy Bates...."

How different this becomes when taking into account the films in which these lasses disrobe.

Pam or Maggie? I can't recall a time when I wasn't impressed by either.

El Emmarino says:
"He entered the world looking exactly like what I'd expect a Zeph to look like."

A beatnik?

George C. Scott - 7
Toby Jones - 4
Pam Grier - 4
Maggie Glyhennal - 2

+Ethan... not everything is gold, but still a solid actor.
-Zooey... extremely cute, but I don't care for her acting style.

Re: Eli

My best friend just named his baby Eli. He was born a couple of months ago. He looks like a tiny little man. Definitely hasn't "rounded out" yet. Haha.

Speaking of....what happened to Zeph?! I miss him!

I told you a while back I had a foster dog named Toby, He was a sweetie.

After EMMA, to whom I say "Ditto",

Ethan Hawke - 7
Zooey Deschanel - 4
George C. Scott - 7
Toby Jones - 4
Pam Grier - 4
Maggie Glyhennal - 2
Shirley MacLaine - 5

+ 1 Reality Bites on Training Day Before Sunrise. I just love him.
- 1 Manic Summer's Failure to Launch. I just can't stand her. Or her "band". Leave M. Ward alone!

I imagine that Z.D. and Ben Gibbard are probably one of the most annoying couples alive. Him, with his incessant whining about love; and her, with her shallow, deadpan, phoniness.

Q: "Speaking of....what happened to Zeph?! I miss him!"

A few weeks ago I was backtracking in the Coen thread to find something. After a while I noticed that Zeph had deleted every single post of his. That thoroughly depressed me. I thought he just got tired of the games... now it kind of looks like something ticked him off. I truly miss that guy. Wish I knew what went wrong and how to correct it.

They may be fictional characters, but Bella and Edward are the most annoying couple. I haven't even seen the films, or read the books, but I want to strangle them both.... well, strangle one and stake the other. ;)

J. Baker says:
We are just not in concordance today, Q!

I like Zooey's acting and her singing career, and I loath practically everything about Ethan Hawke, not least of all his pathetic attempts at writing.
Good to hear though we both dig M. Ward.

Emma,

Sounds like Zeph just self-deleted his own account.
Might not have had anything to do with this forum in particular. I have felt a few times in the past like deleting my entire Amazon account. Amazon in general can be a toxic, frustrating place.

He always seemed like an easygoing guy that wouldn't hold any long resentment (not about strangers!)...I wouldn't worry about it much. He may be back one day.

El Emmarino says:
Jon,

Out of curiosity, I checked some of the other game threads. His posts are still there so the account wasn't deleted. Not sure what went wrong... but I hope you're right and he returns one day.

El Emmarino says:
A Mormon wrote a book series essentially debating bestiality vs. necrophilia? Am I the only one who sees humor in this?

That is pretty funny. Typically a Mormon would stay away from both topics. I also heard the book goes into quite a few other weird and screwed up topics. But I haven't read the series so I'm not sure if what i heard was true.

J. Baker says:
Emma, Okay, well it seems I'm wrong. I have no idea why he'd delete some posts and not others.

I miss the guy too.

Hey, get yourself over to the Director's Game ✍ ✧ ☞ ... you have a Director #7 to pick!

Oz le Fou says:
"A beatnik?"

It's hard to explain what I'd think a Zeph looks like: small, jagged - or sharp - features. Basically, just different. In some ways, I could picture Steve Buscemi as a Zeph.

J. Baker says:
Tim Robbins was such a dick to poor Steve as the beatnik bartender in 'The Hudsucker Proxy', I'd say a good argument could be made for that being his most sympathetic role.
Pass the carrot juice, man.

El Emmarino says:
Ha! That's what I was thinking... Beatnik Barman Buscemi (say that three times fast) from `The Hudsucker Proxy'.

Was it Mitt Romney?

El Emmarino says:
I think you were given some bad information. The books are not that weird... then again, I've read some really screwed up books so my perception might be off.
