D. Larson says:
I'm sure you are right; this was the sort of song I used to hear on staticky college radio stations while driving muffler-deprived cars. "Use" does make more sense.

More sense than Ayn Randies, anyway.

D. Larson says:
As Homer Simpson has so often said, "Stupid Flanders...."

Again, did you ever see this movie? Has nothing to about the Simpson's..

D. Larson says:
Everything has something to do with the Simpsons!

They've been on TV for like twenty years, so there are very few situations they haven't covered. It's like Seinfeld, every conceivable human problem has been done on the Simpsons.

The Simpson's have nothing to do with A Dog of Flanders (1959) .They are two entirely different things..This movieis about a boy who wants to be a painter(artist) and he has his dog Patrasche & he lives with his grandfather in Holland where this all takes place..I know The Simpson's touched on a lot of subjects threw the years but not about this movie. Homer's comment Stupid flanders has no connection to this movie.. Again, did you ever see this movie I am talking about?

Ha! I saw the Simpsons (and Ned) go to Israel ep last night, and there is a great bit where Homer is looking for Ned in the desert, calling out his name, "Stupid Flanders."

If memory serves, Lisa originally wanted to name Santa's Little Helper "Patrasche II" but Bart wasn't having any of it.
Who ever heard of a greyhound named Patrasche. Bart was right. Stupid Sexy Flanders.

"What has that got to do with the movie Dog of Flanders?"

Nothing at all.

"Did you ever see this movie?"

No.

"We are getting off the subject."

Yes. Yes we are. Woe is us, huh?

Who's getting off the subject now. It's ovious you never saw the movie.Again it has nothing to do w/the simpsons.
Which is a cartoon & this movie isn't..They are two entirely different things. If you saw the movie you would know that Patrasche if course was the dog inthis movie. But what kind of dog was it? Do you know? Hmmmm!

D. Larson says:
I don't think Ned Flanders ever had a dog. Bart Simpson does have Santa's Little Helper, a rescue greyhound, if memory serves.

Montgomery Burns has a pack of hounds, though. Mean ones.

Do you promise? Because, if you will pardon me, it seems like we are rather beating a dead dog here. We have established that the movie that goes to your clue is Dog of Flanders. Not quite sure what you expect everyone else to say about it???

Can we switch to another game now? Because frankly, I'm a bit annoyed that this is taking up bandwidth here as there seems to be little point except to establish that you are crazy about A Dog of Flanders. If you're not gonna go any deeper than that, can we please move on?

My vote: +1 for "Stupid Sexy Flanders"
