After PoM:

Bette Davis - 8
Justin Bartha - 4
Charlton Heston - 2
Toby Jones - 4
Kate Winslet - 6
Mel Gibson - 2
Frances McDormand - 8

+ Kate
- Justin

I did research on Justin and Toby. I absolutely know who Toby Jones is. Justin Bartha doesn't stand out for me...nothing too special there to make me keep him around.

Oz le Fou says:
Didn't someone once say something like, "Nobody made it in Hollywood without first visiting the casting couch....except Bette Davis!"

Back-handed compliment, methinks.

I forgo a negative vote with current candidates .

If I where to vote not based on their personal contributions to film and instead use my objection to who I perceive them to be as individuals I certainly wouldn't decline an attempt to degrade their reputation in this forum.

Oz le Fou says:
Ah-Ha! So you believe it is I who said Mel was born in Oz, or I who at least thought he was.

You have been misinformed!

Cheers, my maternal grandmother was born in Australia. She met my grandfather , her husband, a Air Force Master Sergeant, during WWII.

We remain in close contact with Australian relatives to this day. Most live near Sydney (Bondi etc.).

Their wedding photos where front page news at the time.

White Ox is by far my favorite tobacco , chesterfield kings are my second choice. As a result my cigarette habit is expensive and I have to special order my tobacco . Factor in my excessive red bull consumption and Sally Struthers is really ticked off. My daily expenses on these two items could allegedly feed a village.

:)

Dave, The Next Person replaces the eliminated actor.

SMH says:
Oh...that stinks...there is absolutely no incentive to eliminating anyone then. If you're the eliminator, you should pick who replaces them, but hey, it's not my game!

I've adjusted my vote. I've brought Mel back.

Oz le Fou says:
Dave,
For mine, the incentive exists in getting an actor into the Actors Heaven, or demoting an actor into Hell. For example, you voted up Willis, yeah? It's not a stretch to assume that you'd like to see Willis ascend. Right there is incentive.

Another incentive is to see a new name on the board the next time you log on. It's a gamble as to whether the new name is a name you'd like to vote on, but you never know, it may be a favorite, or even better, when the list is chock full of favorites, it may be a name you are more than happy to send down.

The first example is the real incentive. The rest is a gamble - which I find interesting, myself.

Maybe Gibson will produce a movie about you Dave. Technically speaking you are his savior.

Oh happy happy Joy joy an actor has been added who I am enthusiastic about sending to the now prestigious dark realm. C'mon the implications of Moses in Hell.

I almost put Hilary Duff on the list over Willis. It was a tough, tough decision. <---- Joke.... least you all think I was serious.

Q says:
"Keep an eye out for Toby playing Alfred Hitchcock in 'The Girl', a film chronicling Hitch's relationship with Tippi Hedron."

Aha! Alex was telling me they were making a movie about Hitch, and we were wondering who would play him!

Toby Jones is the one actor here who I am not familiar with. He better pull off that Hitch role, or I will be hating him.

So it was Tippi that Hitch had a relationship with? Alex thought it was his personal assistant or something...that he sexually harassed her (or something).
