I guess I'll end the game here.

3. Hercules
2. The Rescuers
1. The awful Pocahontas

Thank you all for playing, and I hope we don't have to do this particular thread again anytime soon!

Well, thanks Muppets. I think it's about time I wander on out of this game. I see 'Pocahontas' at #1, 'The Rescuers' at #2, and nowhere else for this game to possibly go unless 5 more people show up with differing opinion. And that's no likely. So, take care.

I was wondering the same thing. Harmless little kids film, the last I looked (which was some time ago, when I was Russian).

I've never see 'The Rescuers' before. I learn it's about "Two mice of the Rescue Aid Society search for a little girl kidnapped by unscrupulous treasure hunters."

Is the Rescue Aid Society communistic? Why is it so hated on this list?
On the outside looking in, it appears to be a very innocent, mostly forgotten little cartoon.

Uh-oh, I found in the Trivia section....

"Originally, the Rescue Aid Society was to be placed in a hole somewhere, until the idea of a luggage bag in the basement of the United Nations building came up."

"The island of Cuba was once considered as the setting for the film."

Maybe I was onto something with the communist connection!
Ahhh, this cinches it. The alternate Hungarian title is 'A mentőcsapat' = ''Red Mice Revolutionaries''!!!
Good Gawd they're hheeerre!

Obviously, Pocahontas is going to win. Obviously, if the game's ending at 3 films, then there's no possible way I can eliminate Hercules (considering the fact that Baker's continuously upvoting it). And considering the fact that 3 out of 4 people playing are supporting Tarzan, and the only reason Rescuers is going to finish in 2nd is because I currently goat controlling to keep it in (it's even worse than Tarzan), then it's pretty obvious that Hercules is securing 3rd place.

Even if Sloany--the only other person here in this game who is anything remotely resembling a fan of this picture--came and supported Hercules, Baker's upvotes mixed with the doubling on Tarzan's elimination on his and Pastor's part would still make Tarzan the film to eliminate. In other words, unless something unexpected happens to Baker and/or Sloany, Hercules is guaranteed third place.

But I won't leave until the points distributed between the 4 films is sufficient enough that the three positions as I fortold are clearly set in stone. Because if I leave right away, my predictions could be proven inaccurate.

Sure.

So, do Sloany and I get an extra -1 then today? All that would mean is 'Tarzan' would be at 34 instead of 36 now.
