The 'Afterburner' cd by ZZ Top and one of their older ones, 'Deguello' which I did a lot to that one as a kid. After that, I'd have to say it's 'Rock & Roll Over' by KISS. Many fond memories to those three albums & later CD's.

@Brother MOLOCH 969,
re: "Rock & Roll Over"

"I Want You", "Take Me", "See You in Your Dreams" & "Calling Doctor Love" would be entirely appropriate for that situation.
"Mr Speed" & "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em", not so much :)

I've compiled a CD of 80's love ballads. Cheesy I know, but it gets things happenin'....

I think The Weeknd wouldn't be half-bad, along with some of the moodier Massive Attack tracks off of "Mezzanine" like 'Black Milk.' Some old soul tracks would hit the spot, some Isaac Hayes (preferably the tracks without him talking for an hour over a hi-hat), and I'm always game for Marvin Gaye's "I Want You." Now to get to makin' out. :\

And let's not forget the perennial Marvin Gaye favourite "Sexual Healing"...

...and some Barry White too, just to be on the safe side!

The Carpenters' "(They Long to Be) Close to You" was a good make out song when I was in high school.

Now that I'm almost 60 years old, I can always count on a big hug and a little smooch from my wife when I play Randy Travis' "Forever and Ever, Amen".

Santos & Johnny's "Sleepwalk" has gotta be *the* greatest make-out song of all-time.

For me and the wife? "In A Gadda Da Vida." Get the special edition it plays the original 17-minute LP version, the 23-minute live version and the 4-minute 45 rpm single back-to-back-to-back, that's almost an hour...(!)

I'm not very picky in that situation. Any music will do. Hey, as long as it works for her.

@everyone,...i believe Barry White or any other old school R&B singer would be too much of a cliche since too much movies actually used their song for similar scenes...i would probably burst out laughing and that would kill the mood right away.....

I would go with something really exciting and more serious like MASSIVE ATTACK, PORTISHEAD, any other good trip hop band or even metal music, YES, metal music.... I also believe DEFTONES would be just perfect, especially the AROUND THE FUR album, check it out...

@zlh67,
re: Led Zep IV,

"Hey hey mama, said the way you move,
Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove.....
\m/
...Oh, oh, child, way you shake that thing
Gonna make you burn, gonna make you sting....
\m/
...Hey, hey, baby, when you walk that way
Watch your honey drip, can't keep away."

That gets my vote!

May make for a hot and steamy session, but it's not very romantic, is it?

Speaking of Santana, "Samba Pa Ti" off their Abraxas album is a great slow and sensual track to get bizzay to.... :)

Best music to make out to ? That's an easy one: ANYTHING by the one, the only, the late, great Mr. Barry White ! (also affectionately known as "the Walrus"). His music was truly made or created for that specific purpose. Whenever my ex-wife wanted to send me a not-so subtle signal that she was in the mood, I suddenly heard the strands of a Barry White song coming out of the CD player in our home !!
