R.,
Re: The Auditorium Theatre, I must've seen 50+ shows there over the years. Even if the music was bad, it
was such a beautiful theater there was much to see and explore.
I saw The Who & LaBelle on the "Who's Next" tour, Emerson, Lake & Palmer & Yes (second show, it ended shortly after dawn!) Blue Oyster Cult & The Raspberries (The Stooges had cancelled, Raspsberries were almost lynched),
Rush & Cheap Trick /Mott The Hoople & Kansas (Queen cancelled) / Todd Rundgren & Utopia / Alice Cooper w/
Dr. John on the "Killer" tour / Deep Purple w/ Procol Harum & Buddy Miles / Heart w/ Be Bop Deluxe & Mother's Finest / Genesis (first tour without Gabriel) and many many more there.
Lots of indelible rock memories in that place!

I also saw War a few times in the seventies, and I thought they were great.I don't think they get the respect they deserve after 11 gold records and 50 million plus record sales.Anyway I'm actually seeing them in concert next week 7/18/12 and I'm really looking foward to hearing some of my favorite music live again.

I'm breaking the rules - here's 12 (in no specific order). But others are breaking the rules also by including Canadians and Solo artists (Neil Young fits both bills, even though he is one of my all time favorite artists!)

Television
Interpol
