A place to share your favorite YouTube videos.

YouTube is a great source not only for new music and live recordings that haven't been released officially, but also for interviews and documentaries about musicians and music.
I figured we should have a place to share links to YouTube.

A short blurb (or a long essay) giving the basic info about the clip would be helpful - thanks.

Rasmus,
Here's one of my favorite YouTubes. It's the Beatles doing 'Bad Boy'.
It's interesting on how they add clips from 'The Wild One' in it, and old rock and roll clips. And, at the end when Lee Marvin says, 'The Beatles miss you'.

song due out on their forthcoming platter.

Sound ain't so hot but ya gotta make do

commentary from Mr. Jake Burns...

The bootleg of Steely Dan's song "The Second Arrangement"- the song that ended up being taken off the "Gaucho" album after half of it was accidentally erased. They did a demo of the song, but never bothered with the song again. However, they do play it in concert from time to time.

Talk About The Blues - The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion

Jon Spencer goes nuts live on French television. And...how often do you see a band that uses a theremin.

Several years back I got a 4 or 5 DVD set of music performances and comedy clips relating to music on Saturday Night Live. To my great disappointment the episode that had George Harrison and Paul Simon playing together was not one of the clips. I had not seen it since I saw it that night back in the 70's. Both of the performnces are on youtube. Here Comes The Sun and Homeward Bound, truely a historical moment of two of the greats!

Animals As Leaders (power trio)

I'm really partial to this performance. These guys thrill me like Mahavishnu Orchestra did.

Stephen, that version of 'Howeward Bound' did get an official release, it's on the "Nobody's Child" charity album. I have the first 5 seasons of SNL on DVD anyway, the music segments are the highlights.
