Dear Everyone:
seems this is still taking posts....don't know why......maybe there is one more post?

sometimes, not often enough,
we reflect upon the good things,
and those thoughts often center around those we love...
and i think of all those people,
who mean so much to me,
and for so many years, have made me
so very happy.....
and i count the times i have forgotten to say,
'thank you',
and just how much I love them.....

i'm not forgetting:

I love you all, so much....

see you all on the next incarnation of the beatles forum: 'Beatles VI (or is it #9)'

love,
joyce

there are places i remember
all my life
though some have changed
some forever, not for better
some have gone
and some remain
all these places have their moments
with lovers and friends
i still can recall
some are dead and some are living
in my life
i've loved them all
but of all these friends and lovers,
there is no one
who compares with you
and these memories lose their meaning
when i think of love
as something new
though i know i'll never lose affection
for people and things that went before
i know i'll often stop and think about them
in my life,
i love you more....
in my life,
i love you more....

love,
John, Paul, George, and Ringo

This is an interview with Julian Lennon from March 18th 1999 with Dini Petty. He speaks of his new album, his TRUE feelings of Yoko Ono, Sean Lennon, Paul McCartney and his father John Lennon. A very interesting interview where Julian speaks very openly on Yoko Ono and his relationship with her. He also touches on his relationship with Sean Lennon, Paul McCartney and his mother Cynthia.

Oh well, here's the answer:

The Laughing Gnome - David Bowie.
Released as a single - twice.

" 'Ere, where do you come from?
Gnome-man's land!
Oh really?...."

" Haven't you got a 'gnome' to go to?....."

I guess the extra clues wouldn't have helped much......

And I thought it was so easy!
And you'd never have to cheat!!

I guess I'll have to give the answer soon.....

I have to add to the already obvious, Linda's Long Long Long Time is one her finest moments. I also got quite a nice copy of a VHS bootleg years ago of The Johnny Cash Show. They have since released a DVD of it but the boot I have has more on it than the DVD and the quality is really good for a VHS. I transfered it to DVD and enjoy watching it every now and then. Anyway, Linda is on the show several times. Cash must have liked her a lot. But it's so funny seeing this adorable tiny little woman in a short skirt with the man in the black towering over her.

Hey, while I was at work, it suddenly came to me, a demo track from The Bee Gees, a bonus track on their 'Horizontal' album re-issue. Have hardly played that CD.

ronct,

I was born Jan 31, 1959 three days before the music died. The air crashed that ended Buddy, Richie and Big Booper lives.

SO Joyce or Ronct, or John connolly or anyone else do you know the answer?
I could give you a hint if you promise not to go on the internet to look.
It is a known group that was a hit in the 1990's. They played for quite a few years then took a hiatus from music so the one person could go on to pursue music in country music.
Now that all being said you both should know this. C'mon put your thinking caps on.

ELVIS FAN says:
So you are backing down from a challange?
Won't that hit your reputation of a KNOW-IT-ALL?
Hee Hee.
So what group in the 1990's took a haitus from music bis, to let another artist in the group shine in country music?
Any Takers?

A coworker had his camera one day EmmyLou was in the building. I got up my nerve and asked her if we could get a photo together. She said yes. I wanted to put my arm around her but just stood close beside her. I did get the courage to say 'i love you' and gave her a one arm hug. Needless to say it's a treasured memory. I have the photo in a frame.

If you've got a problem, I don't care what it is
If you need a hand, I can assure you this
I can help, I've got two strong arms, I can help
It would sure do me good to do you good,
Let me help

It's a fact that people get lonely, ain't nothing new
But a woman like you baby, should never have the blues
Let me help, I've got two for me, let me help
It would sure do me good to do you good
Let me help

When I go to sleep at night, you're always a part of my dream
Holding me tight and telling me everything I want to hear
Don't forget me baby, all you gotta do is call
You know how I feel about you, if I can do anything at all
Let me help

If your child needs a daddy, I can help
It would sure do me good to do you good,
Let me help

Dear Bernard:
yeah, i figured it wasn't, when you mentioned where the train was going, and also the reference to his 'ciggie'.....very 'unamerican'.....

Only clues:

It's not an American song.

" Ha ha ha, he he he!"
