Dear Gena:
believe me when i say that there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to the "votes", as i have been dogged relentlessly for at least six months, day and night, every SINGLE post, related or not. no kidding. i try to just ignore it. what else can you do, but ignore, and hope that someday, they will get a life, and find more important and constructive things to do with their time.
love,
joyce

Dear Randy:
that's o.k., because I believe Cody became a target, because of his association with me (Hinch too, i believe)....think of it as a chain mail letter....remember those?

Dear James:
I love family guy, and we watch all the time, but i hadn't seen this song (did see most of the stars wars fg though, so don't know how i missed it!)
pretty funny, but i have to admit, this dude is severely creepy, and about the only character that really disturbs me, and not in a good way, on the show. thanks for the link though! funny!

Dear Gloria:
what is this??? is this "our" Eddie (beatles thread, etc.) or a different one? The music (song) is quite nice, actually!....not sure who you were "posting" to, or if it was just in general.

Dear James:
that's o.k., darlin', you can tell me anything...won't change my feelings for you...loving yourself is a healthy thing, as long as you don't get carried away with it, and all.... LOL!
no worries!

Dearest Hinch:
wow! an awesome video, song, performance, EVERYTHING!!! I saved this one to my favs list! thank you SO MUCH for sharing it!!!
also reminds me of how that whole experience FEELS, and although doesn't fit exactly, i can so relate to this!!! I know you can too.
thanks again....btw, this "idea" or theme reminds me of another song, which is "older" now, but is still great, and I also love it....tell me what you think!
http://youtu.be/uPudE8nDog0
very similar, at least insofar as the theme...wonder if they were thinking of this, when they wrote it????
LOVE THIS SONG!!!! great delivery too!
(also saved to my favs!)
p.s., doesn't the guy in your video kinda remind you a bit of "Ray Davies"?? don't exactly know what it is, but something in the eyes and the expressions in his face when he sings, as well as his singing style.....maybe it's just me! lol!

Hinch, I'm new to this thread but not 'the boards'. Love what you're doing here (nashville, eh? sweeet).
I need to replace my copy of The Chambers Brothers "Love, Peace and Happiness" sometime soon, rather than later, thanx to this awesome thread.

Hello and thanks! Glad you like the thread!

I have the LP&H album too. I also bought it on cd. I saw The Chambers Bros live in the early 70s. One of my favorite bands! TIME HAS COME TODAY is a great album too!

I love the song! I've been hearing it for a while at work, but because of all the other noise, I could never really hear it enough to know any of the lyrics. No one I asked knew what the name of it was. I also didnt know there was a woman singing on it too. The guy's voice reminds me of Sting. I need to checkout the rest of the album. I hope it's all good.

I found it by going on a site with the current to 40 and listenng to each track. It was in the top 10, so it was easy to find.

I forgot to mention I also like the cool video. According to the amazon product page for Gotye's album Making Mirrors "Someone That I Used to Know" has just become the biggest selling Australian record since Savage Garden's "Truly Madly Deeply" in 1995.

From what I can tell from the samples, the rest of the album is just as good.

Thanx for the response, Hinch. Thats great you got to see these guys!
I traded albums away when i was a kid, some towards a Bass in '74.
Can't recall what happened to Love, Peace and Happiness but a CD reissue needs to be here now. Funkadelic's "Maggot Brain" would be nice as well (same trade away deal).

Well amazon won't help me for LP&H,,,price is crazy high. To think i thought Yesterday and Today's first was out there. Love that band as well. A jam along fave.

Wow!

I have MAGGOT BRAIN also. I have 5000 vinyl albums. I still have all except a handful I ever bought.
