I agree completely. I searched and searched and found nothing.

It would probably be helpful if there was a way to know the music was still for sale. Prior to this discussion I could find nothing. It seems lame to threaten anyone without a reasonable alternative. Have you considered a website?

Hi All - I was born and raised in decatur and used to see Pork and the Ducks at D's Country Lounge in Decatur - circa 1978-1980 then I move away. In a band now and that band was really a huge influence on an 18 year old who only listened to WLS on the AM radio dial. I would gladly pay for a CD of some of those old favorites. Anyone out there able to oblige?? The 2 albums I bought back then long since disappeared in the many moves I've made since then. My oldest brother is turning 70 in March and for his surprise party in Nashville I am going to play "Operator" on my acoustic for him. I also just paid 24 bucks for a used Pork t-shirt on ebay. Great memories!!

O'brien, my fellow IU buds an I use to make pilgrimages to Champagne just to hear The Ducks. Awesome sound they had. I'm sitting in a Florida fish camp restaurant listening to a group called Duck Fat. That reminded me of Pork. I googled and found your Amazon stream. Any chance you have any more CDs? Bill Miller 112 Camphor Tree Lane Altamonte Springs, FL 32714 . I'll be happy to reimburse you. Have a good New Year.

Jeff,
I haven't forgotten about you. I just about have your cds done. I gonna send you Mackinaw, Timothy P. & Rural Route 3, Appaloosa, and Dave Chastain Band.

Appaloosa has been playing around Champaign lately. Probably their most popular song was Morning riser. I'm sure I've seen Timothy P was probably to drunk to remember (that was back in the day I know better now).

Honestly I have not heard Timothy P and RR3 or Appaloosa but would be interested in them as well on your recommendation as well as those above.

He didn't show fir a gig and they found him in his chair. We lost a great entertainer that day. May he rest in peace.

No thank you Sean, because now I am going impose again and ask for you to send me a copy of "legends in their spare time" as well. While listening to my recently received pork again) I thought of that Mackinaw album/band. "twenty more miles of road to go and only 15 more of dirt..."

Michael,
I am a huge Buddy Holly fan so every year I head up to The Surf Ballroom for the Big winter dance party tribute they have and they had Timothy P and Flash Cadillac as one of the performers. They put on a great show.

You got me humming "I gave her the ring ,but she gave me the finger" with Crow Carroll and the boys of Mackinaw! I've got an album that he did with Pork, and Timothy P and the RR 3, and a few others it's available on iTunes. Tim Irwin is now in Colorado playing with Flash Cadillac and the Continental Kids (the band that played at the dance in American Grafitti)

I have that song by Mackinaw plus their album "Legends In Their Spare Time". I have a few other bands from illinois back in the day. I have everything Timothy P. & The Rural Route 3 did, Appaloosa, Dave Chastain Band. Plus Pork and the Havana Ducks of course.
