I don't know if JC Superstar was all that preachy, it was more 3rd person. Actually it's kind of like Glee or something, the Jesus freak kids in school were into it. Kinda boring and so were they. <shrug>

To all,

I am sure that this thread will be gone before I get back to the computer. Thank you all for allowing me in, I have enjoyed this thread, my first thread, very much! I will talk to you guys over on the next thread. Take care and good night...

Joyce,
I hope you are feeling better. I just spent the last hour catching up to 200 posts. I sometimes want to respond to something someone said, but figure we have already moved on to something else. Well here goes anyway. I think George was spiritual, not religious. I didn't find him preachy at all. Do you know the difference between religion and spirituality. Religion is for people afraid to go to hell. Spirituality is for those who have already been there. George couldn't match the quality of songs after ATMP. Then he toured when his voice was shot, and had to cancel some of it. I think he lost interest form a while, but got it back with the Wilburys. And, Dylan took some heat for STC, but never was preachy at his shows. He never was evangelical, and then became a born again jew again.
It's 1am, I'm going to bed. Let me know what the new thread will be.
Peace out, John

Dear John:
yeah, it is hard to keep up with all the "changes" sometimes! thanks though for your input on George, et. al.....yeah, i wasn't saying he was "preachy" to me, but just that some felt that way.....i would have loved to have seen either George or Bob, preachy or not, in person! must have been awesome to see Bob!
i hope you have a nice rest, and very pleasant dreams!!! see you tomorrow!
love,
joyce
p.s., my headache is better, overall, but sort of comes and goes, but i expect it will, for another day or two....a real pain in the arse, if you know what i mean!

I've only been at this for about 1 year maybe less. What does happen when the posts run out. I'd hate to lose all we've been going through since I've become a part of this? It would be very lonely wihout all of you. Some mentioned a Beatles VI? I like that.
\Thanks

Dear Bonnie:
i did, and I like it too, except for it's not the 6th forum, but the 4th; however, as i pointed out to Hinch, if you look at the roman numerals for "VI", it's inverse is "IV", which is kinda cool too, but I will let him "name" it, as he is kinda like our "master of ceremonies" here!
don't worry, there will be another, and you will see it! :)
love,
joyce
