Looking for band names, band member names, song title, albums that reference a geographic location.Streets, towns, cities, counties, states, countries, continents, seas, rivers, oceans, planets or anything else you can think of,real or fictitious are all good.I think this list should span all generations and genres of music and could be large.

lets limit entries to 5 at a time please.

This idea has been done so many times already. There are discussions with every song related to every city, state and country already on here. That doesn't mean you can't start anew for people just coming to these forums. So have fun.

Yeah Dee Zee I started this thread and I'm kinda new to Amazon.I've been sharing on these forums about 6 months and hadn't seen anything similar.I actually got the idea from a sprint tv commercial we're a couple are driving across the USA and they are playing songs that relate to the city they are in.I thought how many song title mention a city or state.

Kiss-Detroit Rock City
Monkees-Last Train To Clarksville
Pink Floyd-Darkside Of The Moon
Dylan-Highway 61 Revisited

Hi Michael, yeah if you do a search you might find the past threads. I actually printed some of them out because there were so many city, state, country songs out there and it might be fun to make a playlist or CD with just those songs. I like that commercial as well. Some of us have been on these forums for 4 and 5 years and you see a bit of repetition but that's the nature of life.
