I know this has probably been done before, however let's try to compile a list as long as possible of songs which contain the word 'rain' or any form of it.
Rules of the game: Mention song title and artist.
One song title per post, though you can enter as many non-subsequent posts as you wish.
Must be an officially released song, any genre.
Think of one off the top of your head; no cheating or Googling!
You are not allowed to repeat a previously mentioned song in the thread, so read through all entries carefully!
I'll start:
Red Rain - Peter Gabriel

Purple Rain
Prince & The Revolution

My favorite with "rain" in the title. Although I'm also thinking of another one that is virtually tied with it...

It's too close to call. Assuming it doesn't get mentioned, I will try to reveal this co-champion shortly. Both are coincidentally around the same running time, and it's the strings/mellotron passages, respectively, on both that are among my two favorite musical moments in all of popular music... :)

That's my favorite one in the "pure pop" realm 7 & 7. A beautiful pick and a great song. At the very least it would have to be my favorite song with "rain" in the title to ever hit #1... :)

Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head - BJ Thomas

This classic Burt Bacharach/Hal David gem is my favorite song for the 1970 chart year and is right beside "Laughter In The Rain" as my favorite #1 single with rain in the title. Very beautiful.
