Don't forget the demons! Without demons rock music wouldn't even exist, except for the Elvis songs, he was a good Christian boy so he didn't need the demons.

Well Ernest, I'm sorry to hear of your lack of appreciation for musical talent and your delusions of an invisible entity that's trying to take over the world through Satan worship. However, I'm afraid I'll have to sincerely disagree with your critique of rock music. It conveys nothing of what you described and frankly, the works of Elvis Presley are only a pinnacle of a wide genre, ranging across musical styles and artists. Even Presley himself raised hells bells when he first entered the scene, shaking his hips in an ecstatic manner for all to see, many during the time deemed him as a sinner. Perhaps if you put behind your nonsensical theories and prejudice for "African" beats, then maybe you could truly appreciate what rock has offered to millions of people across the world, both young and old.

P.S. Hail Satan

It is because I appreciate musical talent that I do not listen to Rock music. If you dont believe me, read up on the Illuminati. They control the whole entertainment industry. One of the reasons Elvis met an early demise was that he refused to take part in it.

Ernest, still making friends, huh?

He met an early demise because of obesity and substance abuse. Perhaps you've heard of the growing concern over heart disease in America? If you don't believe me, you should read about it.

Which also explains why he had such little success in the entertainment industry and died nearly penniless.

A cursory glance at your reviews shows that you have purchased Satanic Rock and Roll for your, um, private enjoyment. It seems that you are conflicted about the demonic origins of guitar-based pop music. Or this is cheap trolling. You pick.

Bill M. says:
>> "Rock Music is the Devils Music!"

What year is this, 1957? Please tell me you're a "Poe" (satire).

>> "Most people dont like Country music because of its roots in the church"

Actually country music has its roots in the American 1800s folk songs of the praries, not "the church".

>> "and most Country singers are Christian"

So are most rock musicians.

>> "But Rock music is the most popular music mainly because of the Illuminati and the devil."

While you're here on Amazon, you should order some more aluminum foil for your hat. Maybe search for a straitjacket while you're at it.

If your goal here is to turn people off from Christianity, then you're doing a great job! And to paraphrase the late Bill Hicks, "If it's a choice between eternal hell and good tunes, or eternal heaven and New Kids On the Block... I'm going to be surfing on the lake of fire, rockin' out."

I checked the OP's profile too...seems he's bought a Killers and a Jet CD along with his Elvis and Country music. Guess he's not quite as anti-Rock music as he claims. =oP

Hmm. A rock band I listen to thanks "God" and "Jesus" in the liner notes of their cds. That certainly ain't "Satanic".

In reply to an earlier post on Dec 13, 2011 6:26:53 PM PST
There are many Christian rock bands. Wonder what the OP thinks of them? ;o)

This is the oldest story in the world. Rock WISHES it was of the devil, so it could be the terrorizing counter-cultural "shock-your-parents" force it used to be. Now it's just old and tired, and you can't shock today's parents. They were all hippies for chripessake.

Actually, today's GRAND parents were the hippies. Wow we're all getting old, folks.

"Christian rock" is an oxymoron. ;-}
I wonder if he bought the Jet CD before or after his tin foil hat slipped off.......?
