I bought a wireless adpater. NE-WN720 to connect my son's computer to my mothers internet, so he can a success his home school assignments. I am struggling as to how to hook it up. I entered my mothers network id and it refuses to connect, though it saved it to the wireless networks. I called tech support, but they think Im a geek too and I have no idea what they are talking about. Can someone provide a dummies edition on how to connect to my mother's wireless?

Tom Sawyer says:
Instead of entering the network ID, select the network ID and enter the security key. It's usually 10 digits I think and may be your phone number including the area code, or it may be on the back of the wireless router. Good luck!

If you haven't got it yet,

You need to select the Network ID (the name of the network, i.e., "Moms Network") AND the encryption (should be WPA or WPA2) AND the password.
