Streaming better quality using Roku2xs vs. Samsung Amazon Prime App

Have even tried cat5 cable from router to TV - same issues.

Does TV use a "dongle" device for WiFi? These are known to be rather glitchy.
Did you verify TV was actually using ethernet/wired connection? Many devices require the connection type (WiFi or wired) be selected via menus, they don't always just default to wired when ethernet is used.

Can you stream other services fine using both WiFi and wired?

Dunno. That's what comes to mind off the top of my head. :)

Can steam other Samsung apps/services fine using Wi-Fi: Hulu Plus, Crackle, TED, Frequency, etc. - all work fine except Amazon Prime. ALL Roku streaming services work fine. My next step will be to uninstall and reinstall Amazon Prime and see what happens.
