Happy to hear they'll finally get their book, but I'm sooo very much on the fence about even buying it. I loathed Unleashed to the point I actually deleted it off my Kindle, and haven't read the last one. A great series went to mediocre when she started pandering to her very vocal online fanpoodles and from what I read of the comments she made about Butch and V getting it on off-page, she still is.

So will it *really* be Blay And Q? Or will it be V and Butch...again...with a little B/Q mixed in just like Payne's book was?

I am sooo glad a lot of other people feel like I do. I loved this series at the beginning and then steadily began disliking it to the point that I haven't even read Tohr's book yet. I have it but just can't bring myself to be so disappointed cause I have always loved Tohr. I always thought he deserved such a HEA. Lost all my enthusiasm at Phury's book and am really glad that Ms. Ward has agreed that she made a mistake. Too many sideplots. Too many side characters and people I couldn't care less about. But like someone else said, I may start reading again with Blay and Q's book. Wow. Didn't think it'd ever happen.

I liked the series. How about Blay/Quinn/Layla? Or even better, Blay/Layla/Quinn?

Once it was released, I went and read the reviews and spoilers...and knew there was no way I was going to even crack it open. More of the same rambling plot, same plot holes. For me, the series will probably always end at JM's book. I might get the Q/B one and skim it because I did love them a lot before she managed to kill off my love for the series for good with the shoddy plotting/continuity of Unleashed.

No offense but I hope it's not a menage between Qhuinn/Blay/Layla. I just couldn't take that. They're special. They need a HEA with just the two of them.

I have to admit I just finished up reborn last night and enjoyed it for the most part

Not a menage so much just an alternative lifestyle. You know...sharing.

As much as I loved this series in the beginning, like others I have gotten frustrated over the last few books. Maybe its time to wrap the series up? Kind of hard to answer all the questions bothering people about the inconsistencies in the story line, but with the HEA of Blay and Qhuinn, maybe with another 2 books a lot of loose ends could be tied up. Then let the Brotherhood fade into the, well, Fade. Start another spin-off series from there, but don't have the Brothers as prominent in it. I'm not a writer, and my hat is off to anyone who has the tenacity to finish writing a book, let alone a popular series many are invested emotionally in. But I think its close to time to call it a day on this series. The last few books I enjoyed but not with the passion of the first 4 or 5,

I don't think Lover Reborn was a bad book. It just dealt more with internal issues than the great boy meets girl (or other boy) love story. It is more about learning to except yourself or except who your partner is so you can love again. Yea yea not as hot and steamy but in a way more realistic. I enjoyed the book for what it was even if it did depart from the formula.

Finally!! I'm not into mm at all but I like both of these characters and after all this time, I don't care who they have their HEA with as long as they get it. I like the way the books development all the rest of the characters as they go along too.

I'm glad Qhuinn and Blay are finally getting their book but the title is lame. Lover at Last sounds like fan fic. And where, oh where, are Qhuinn's piercings and tat on the cover too? Someone also mentioned that the eye color is backwards lol (can't recall which is blue and which is green) but maybe that'll be fixed by the time it goes to print.

LuLu, I hope they fix the cover to add the tats and piercings. It's the least they could do. We expect to see a picture of the people we've been reading about.

I really wanted the m/m story to be Butch and V's but I know they have others now, but a girl can keep wishing. I am glad for Blay and Quhinn's story too!!!!!

I understand and I think Butch and V have a little something something going on you know? And if it wasn't for their mates, I think they would have done a little more something something.

I just like Blay and Quinn. Always have liked them and I'll be glad to see them finally resolve their issues and be happy with who they are and with who they love.

Where did you see the cover?

LJA, go to Goodreads.com and look up the book. You can see it there. I'm not sure where else.

Tanya! Hell Yeah, I'm with you on that one. I've waited since Phury's book for these two to get it on!!! I can't wait.

@ Onmykindle, I've tried to be a JR loyalist and see this series out, but it's getting damn hard. Payne's story was overshadowed by more V & Jane drama, and now we have Tohr's [sigh...]. I was so bummed by this book. Some reviewers loved the two-battered-hearts-healing-together angle, but I just couldn't get into it. It felt so contrived, and not remotely passionate. Autumn didn't grow a pair until the end of the book & I had to force myself to finish it. Who forces themselves to finish a BDB book?? Well ... there was Phury's ... :-/

And yeah, I want Blay and Qhuinn to get their much deserved HEA, but they deserved it like ... two or three books ago. I just hope Ward does them justice, and I want Layla to find contentment with a man. Sure, she takes pride in being everyone's personal blood keg, but from the way Tohr's book read it seems like Xcor and Layla might be destined. Did anyone else pick up on that one? Anyway... when I need a BDB fix I turn to the first four--less gansta smack, less confusing plot lines, and just great writing. I honestly think I have the first four memorized. lol.

I know what you mean, Kaye. I really, really want to like the books again. I can't wait for the next book cause I LOVE Qhuinn and Blay! And have thought they needed a HEA a few books back, but I'm nervous cause I feel like it'll be another disappointing book. (Like Phury's and J.M.'s and Payne/Manny's....but I actually liked Rehv's.)
I guess this is just the way Ward wants her series to play out and I'll just have to get over it and go find a new addiction. What makes it so difficult though is that when it's good, it's so damn good!

@ T. Wagoner--I loved Rehv's too. There was something endearing and flirtatious about their phone conversations that sucked me in. And yes, the series is flowing the way Ward wants--her baby, not the readers, but you're right, when they're good, they're so damn good! Although the kindle price is ridiculous. I think maybe that's what infuriates me the most, overpaying for books that aren't worth the cash...

Irritating or not, Ward is doing something right. We're all here talking about her books, aren't we? And, more importantly to her, buying them.

I love this series, and I enjoy all the complications and internal strife of the BDB and their mates. I haven't had time for Reborn yet, but it's in my tbr pile. After I read it and before the next one is out, I plan to reread all of them in order. It's been a while, and this series is very detailed, so I know I have forgotten entire subplots.

Definitely overpriced. I actually have the hardback on the first few ones to have a collection to keep. I quit that early in the series though. Couldn't pay that much for something I didn't enjoy anymore. I am still loving the Immortals After Dark series. Kreslel Cole has kept my attention through the entire series. There's so many series' that I started and haven't kept up with like the Dark Hunters, the Carpathians, etc.

I thoroughly enjoy Cole's IAD--I reread those the most. I've given up on a few series too. I think that's why I'm a huge Ione fan. She doesn't linger. Yes, her Demonica series is connected to Lords of Deliverance, but there's still a separation between the two. And Ione's and Stephanie Tyler's ACRO series came to a nice end as well. As far as Reborn went--I hauled through (skipping over parts) and got a refund; it wasn't worth $14.00 on kindle. I know pricing is a publisher issue, but I respect the publishers who offer new books on kindle for six or seven bucks.

Cant wait for Blay and Quinn just to be done with that angle. Like others havent been as overwhelmed with the latest offerings. I've let a couple series drop due to getting tired of same ole same. Quit Dark Hunters when all these fantastic characters popped up to outdo Ash, quit carpathians when we just get domineering male vamp seeing colors after 5000 years and a host of others. I enjoy IAD by Cole, anything Ione touches and Lynn Viehl's kindred
