Hi everyone! I'm reading Lord's Fall right now. We are heading out of town to visit my in-laws this weekend after my son's football game Sat morning. I can't believe how fast this year has flown by and it's almost Thanksgiving. We'll be putting up Christmas decorations before too long.

Perri, glad to hear you enjoyed it!

Aussie, have fun on your Twilight weekend. :)

I haven't managed to read Lord's Fall yet and probably won't get to it this weekend either since I'm still doing NaNo - but it's definitely on my list for Thanksgiving. I'm trying to stick to novellas until then so they don't take up too much time.

Aussie, have fun at Twilight. My daughter and I may make our significant others take us this weekend - we go to a theater that lets you take food and drinks into the actual cinema so they don't put up too much of a fuss. :-)

I'm excited about the new Twilight movie too...definitely going to see it tomorrow! I've been on an Amy Lane kick lately. I'm about to finish up Becoming, Green's Hill Werewolves Book 5, a BBA Menage story and then I'll move on to Being, Green's Hill Werewolves Book 6, and then probably Knitter in His Natural Habitat (Knitting Series). I need to start my Christmas reading sometime soon too. I still have a bunch of holiday books from last year that I never read but that didn't stop me from pre-ordering the 3 new Christmas anthologies Carina Press has out this year. :-)

I'll be traveling South for the Thanksgiving Holiday, I'm currently listening to Spell of the Highlander. I have the Darynda Jones books loaded up too. I have Lord's Fall on the kindle too. I've got great plans to read a bit on vacation, but that is usually filled with family interactions, darn.

Aussie Girl have fun on your "Twilight" weekend.

TravelingGal good luck at NaNo

S.Cook have fun with the relatives.

Happy Thanksgiving All and Mucho Reading! :-}

Kari - thanks for the inspiration, I wasn't feeling like diving into anything heavy so I will be hitting up the slew of Christmas short freebies that I have been one clicking throughout the year...

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend (and a happy "Gobble Gobble" day too:)

Re-reading Storm's Heart. Will skip Serpent's Kiss, and re-read straight through, then read Lord's Fall. I'd forgotten how much I like these characters!

On the audio front, I'm plunging straight through the In Death series. I'm on book 7, and have bought through 11. I hadn't planned to read them all at once, but it's so hard to stop! I'm going to have to make a decision soon, as the final Wheel of Time is coming out in January. I'd wanted to go back and re-read/listen to the last few before finishing the series. It's hard to believe that I started WoT almost 20 years ago.

I finished and then re-read Lord's Fall last week. Loved it. Interesting (and perhaps meaningful) revelation about Dragos at the end! I have started the latest Dragonfury book, Fury of Seduction (Dragonfury Series #3). Pretty good so far.

Hey S. and Vanessa! (*waves*)
I stayed up late and finished Fury of Seduction. I generally liked it. I liked Tania very much. Mac made me a little crazy at times with his commitment-phobe attitude. The series definitely still relies on the BDB speak, but I was ready for it so it didn't bother me.
If you recall, evil Lothair is now dead. (Thank goodness. There is only one Lothaire and he belongs in the IAD.) So, Ivar is front and center. Ivar is pretty darn evil. At times, it goes over the edge into icky. I think Coreene Callihan tried to address one of the major problems of book 2 (which was that Angela got over her abuse/rape in days to mate with Rikar) so she shows us several times that Angela is still working through it but, honestly, that still doesn't fix book 2. There is an interesting secondary plot line with Tania's sister, who I am guessing will be a future h. There is also some interesting world building and dragon politics with a couple of characters spending time in Europe.

Forge was a surprise. His newborn son (Gregor Mayhem) was really the catalyst for book 1 and took up a big part of book 2. Forge was angry, hurting, frantic to find his son. Now that he and Gregor are all accepted within the Nightfury pack, he was smiling and joking and hanging out with the guys. It was way too quick a transition. Only 5 weeks have gone by since Myst was at the birth of Gregor Mayhem in book 1. He seems to have gotten over Gregor's mother pretty darn quick. She wasn't his mate but still . . . he seemed a different character than the angry male hanging out in the Nightfury dungeon. Then, the end . . . (*big sigh*) . . . why, oh why, do writers always have to have the h run off and do something TSTL so that the H can come rescue her? Knocked a full star off my rating. There is also a glimmer, a hint, that maybe Venom/Wick could turn into Qhuinn/Blay. Don't know if I like that. Venom's book appears to be up next.

SPOILERS For Fury of Seduction
exactly, bad guys too yucky, and no to 'Winom' as far as I am concerned - but it looked that way with no heroine intro'd in the teaser.

***SPOILERS For Fury of Seduction***
Yes, it did kind of look that way unless . . . it is Wick who is just uncomfortable around women (?) Bad past experiences? Venom doesn't seem to have any trouble with women. If Coreene Callihan does go that route, I think I'd call them Venick. And, yeah, the bad guys were just icky. I wanted to skip those parts. Bastian and Myst are still my fav couple so far.

Okay, I LOVE Ethan, enduringly. And I LIKED Beautiful Redemption. It was good. I didn't not like it... but I wanted to love it and didn't. It just didn't feel epic to me.The very end was perfect though. (I hope I don't discourage you from reading! It IS good, just not quite what I hoped for.)
