Does anyone know who the next Christine Feehan's ghostwalker book is about? Or when the book will be release? I haven't been able to find any info on it. I'm hoping it's about Javier. I'm dying to read about him.

I keep checking for that one myself, and no luck at all. Christine Feehan was without a contract as of a couple of months ago, but you would figure there would be some info by now. There are so many characters left to be written about that the one book every year and a half is torture.

I want her to go back to the original group. I want Ian's book!

Gosh, I really want to know. I love the Ghostwalker series. I didn't know she was without a contract. Probably why there has been no news on her 2012 releases.

I'm with you Lulu I love the ghostwalker series. I hope this doesn't mean she's not going to continue with this series. There are way too many characters I would like to know more about. It would totally suck if we were left hanging.

From what I understand, she is still firmly committed to the series (as per her members site), but now the problem for me is that there are just too many characters that I want. Logan, Tucker, Ian, Jeff, Javier, Brian. I want to know about Wyatt get the idea.

I hear you kaleigha. She keeps introducing a lot interesting characters that I keep wanting to read about and that's why I'm hoping she continues the series.

I agree. It would be awful to just end the series without resolution for some of these characters: Javier, Logan, Tucker, Ian, Brian, etc. Also evil Dr. Whitney is still out there and has to be taken down. I can't imagine she would abandon the series.

I thought I was the only one who couldn't wait until the next ghostwalker book came out. :) But I totally agree about her characters being interesting and then we're left hanging until the others come out. Although I really want to read Ian's book the most. Hoping the next book comes soon. *fingers crossed*

I'd like it to be Javier and Rhianna's book, at least that's who it looks like is paired up.

V says:
I'm anticipating Javier and Rhianna's book too. There is so much left unfinished in this series. I will cry if Feehan doesn't finish this series:( I have read books out there where the series is incomplete for whatever reasons and hoping the ghostwalker series is NOT one of them.

Is there one other group out there that we haven't met yet?

Posted on Sep 1, 2011 7:21:33 PM PDT
Yep, there is a fourth team. We have briefly met three of them, I think, including Wyatt Fontenot. They are the Para-Rescue team.

V says:
Is Wyatt Fontenot in the fourth team or is he on the same team as his brother Gator?

Posted on Sep 2, 2011 6:58:44 AM PDT
Lulu says:
I don't think he's on the same team as Gator. I remember that Wyatt was really crazy about that girl that Gator and Flame rescued so I'm wondering if they are going to be a pair. She had been kidnapped and horribly abused and I don't know if I want to read an entire book about her recovery. Seems like every other book I pick up has a sexually abused, tortured heroine and I'm tired of it.

Wyatt is part of the fourth team, the pararescue team. He is one of only four known members so far, but how he went from not being a Ghostwalker in Gator's book to part of the mystery team was quite a surprise.

Lulu- I agree with you all the female stories are starting to be too similar. I wonder if she'll ever pair a ghostwalker with a non-ghostwalker character to give it a uniquely different story line.

kaleigha- I don't remember much about Wyatt and the fourth team. Does the mystery team not consist of ghostwalkers? You said he went from a ghostwalker to being part of the mystery team?

Posted on Sep 2, 2011 4:52:08 PM PDT
Hey V.

When Wyatt was first introduced in Gator's book, there was no mention of his being a Ghostwalker. If he was one at that point, it was without Gator's knowledge. In the last book, though, all of a sudden Wyatt was part of team four. Although there is very little known about the fourth team (the pararescue team), they are definitely Ghostwalkers. What threw me was that it has been said before that Ghostwalkers always recognize each other, but no one introduced Wyatt.

Wow! Thanks kaleigha. I think I'm going to have to re-read some of the books because I don't remember much of that. I would definitely like to read about team 4.

Not to plug my own crap, but I have a Ghostwalkers character guide, if you would find it helpful...

Lulu says:
Kaleigha, you are right about Wyatt. I remember that too. In Gator's book, he was Gator's attractive, smart brother but no mention of him being a ghostwalker so CF will have some 'splaining to do if Wyatt ever gets his own book.

Posted on Sep 3, 2011 5:11:28 PM PDT
The only thing I can think of is that maybe he would be a shielder - it would be the only thing I can think of to explain how he could be a Ghostwalker and not have Gator "sense" him (like Jess and Saber).

Posted on Sep 3, 2011 6:23:22 PM PDT
kaleigha : good thinking. I was lost about Wyatt and trying to rack my brain about his history in the series and came up with a slight mention. I have to give you several mild high fives cuz strong ones hurt :)... on your wicked scribes site. Excellent work.
Sure would like it if a new one came out soon but alas not to be.

I sure was hoping CF would have one out for Christmas. I was looking forward to it.

Thanks Frisco!

December is always Ghostwalker month for me. But it looks like with Christine Feehan dropping down to three books a year, our next fix won't be until next April. Blech.
