Here we are at the end of the year....this year went quickly. So many books, so little time.
I'm forgoing PNR this week-end. I'm reading a Christmas anthology called Santa Baby. I love reading X-mas books this time of year. It puts me in a good mood.

Happy Reading All =)

TGIF :) Hoping to get a chance to catch up a bit on my reading (November was busy) but I am starting Bound By Darkness (Guardians of Eternity) and a nonPNR holiday anthology ARC Holiday Kisses: A Rare Gift\Mistletoe and Margaritas\It's Not Christmas Without You\This Time Next Year - I like to read these this time of year too.

I am starting the Highland Guard series by Monica McCarty. The Chief: A Highland Guard Novel (Highland Guard Novels) is the first book. My reading ususally majorly slows down this time of year, though, with all the holiday chaos!

If I'm lucky, this weekend I'll finally finish Drink Deep: A Chicagoland Vampires Novel!

I'm really looking forward to reading Fate's Edge by Ilona Andrews. I got it when it was released on Tuesday but forced myself to wait until this weekend to read it so I can savor it.

I'm also planning on reading Warlord Wants Forever, mainly because of the Lothaire excerpt. I tend to be mixed on the IAD series but I do want to read about Lothaire.

Next there's a new one from Moira Rogers, Demon Bait: Children of the Undying, Book 1. And finally a few historicals - Lily Mine: A Historical Fantasy by Annabel Joseph, Colby's Child by Patrica Watters, and Becoming Miss Becky and Taming Eliza Jane by Shannon Stacey.

CLB - are you having trouble finishing Drink Deep? :-)

I'm so happy to see Friday! This week has been unbearably long.

I finished the Soul Screamers series by Rachel Vincent this week (which culminated with the very excellent If I Die (Harlequin Teen)). So now I'm on to the latest House of Comarre book, Bad Blood (House of Comarré). I can't say enough how good this series is! I'm loving it.

I'm reading Larissa Ione's Immortal Rider right now--as time permits. Haven't had as much reading time as I'd like lately!

Me too!!!! I'm also counting the days for Lothaire.

I'll be interested in what you think of Bound By Darkness. I haven't ordered that one yet. Good price on the kindle copy.

This weekend I'm going to read What Child is This? by Z.A. Maxfield (non-pnr m/m) and then am hoping to get to The Bite Before Christmas by Sands and Frost. I think I've planned to read this one for the last few weekends but haven't gotten around to it. I really like Frost so I'm not sure what my block is. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

If you want to combine PNR with Xmas, I recommend Janet Chapman's "Highlander for the Holidays".

CLB77, I'll be interested to hear what your think of Drink Deep?

Meagen, I've got the House of Comarre ready on my kindle, but after finishing the Circle Trilogy I've got to get up to date with the IAD before Lothaire gets here.

shannon, I've also got the latest Ivy coming to me in the post this week, I think she is padding the series out a bit and really should finish it up with Cassandra and Caine's book...I'll also add my 2 cents worth....

Yes, sort of... with a 7 month old, I have trouble finishing anything anymore ;) It's not because I'm struggling through it. I'm at 88%, so almost done! I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, but the mystery is finally coming together, at least. @Aussie, I'll report back when I'm done. Then I can finally read some of the threads about it that have been tempting me too.
