im thinking about getting a computer from ibuypower with this specs:

nvidia geforce gtx 660 (or AMD 7850)
8 gig ram

Are there any bottlenecks to this system or anything that is worth uprgading or downgrading based on price? Also, which is better, the gtx 660 or HD 7850?

You need to make sure you upgrade your power supply to a name brand. ibuypower and cyberpower usually skimp on the PSU and put in something cheap.

Not really. That's a decent mid-range video card and the CPU will last you for years. You can always upgrade your graphics card down the road and your CPU won't bottleneck it.

That setup is fine, no bottlenecks, it will play anything you throw at it.

make sure your motherboard is actually good. a mediocre board is something you'll be carrying with you until its dying days.
