And then there are the people to get to play both.

To Jason Koenig: Nice one. You gave me a good chuckle. What I meant was I don't have internet access at home. I certainly couldn't play here at work in any event :)

I played Torchlight, it was ok. Nowhere near the atmosphere and feel of Diablo though. It was a nice way to pass the time waiting for D3. Can't wait 'til the 15th!

James, I figured it was something like that, I just can't resist when people post on the internet about their internet. Where are you located, out of curiosity?

Jason: I live in a rural area just NE of San Diego proper. No cable, no DSL available. I've been checking since 2002. I could do satellite, but it's very expensive, and it would only be to play Diablo III. Just not a justifiable expense. So my friends and I are still playing things like StarCraft and Battlefield 1942 w/mods. My 4 StarCraft CDs have been one of the best valued purchases I've ever made.

Got my preorder in. The online DRM is annoying but not a deal breaker, for me.

I've noticed Torchlight mentioned a few times on this thread. Is it perchance multiplayer, and if so, the obvious question, LAN? Is there a Torchlight 2? Same questions.

Torchlight is only single player, but Torchlight 2 is coming out this year and will have multiplayer and LAN support.

The question is "who's in, who's out" - and people who state they are in, are marked as not adding to the discussion.

The hate for Diablo is so terrible,... yet, we all know the same people who spew bile and hate, have preordered it since it was announced.

New to the forums? ;)

Those votes are meaningless, pointing them out only gets you downvoted.

And I could see if the "hate is terrible" if there were hundreds of downvotes, not 1-2.

It also looks unpolished with a minimalist HUD and very little attention to detail.

I was going to order it until I saw the steam video and screen shots last night. Not impressed.

Path of Exile and D3 for me this year.

I thought the Shatter-runed Frost Nova skill was one of the coolest features in the beta. Can't wait to test it out in the full game.

people waiting for this game to drop to $30 will be waiting a looooooooooong time.

Much agreed. I thought it looked worse than previous screen caps and videos circulating a while back, kind of a regression. I'll wait until it goes on sale and pick it up at a later date, because D3 and GW2 will occupy most of my time.

Speaking of, I'm making a thread regarding those two now over on the VGF.

Sounds good, man.

To stay true to the topic, I'm out. Not that I don't like battlenet or blizzard, but never seemed to be too interested in their games. Also with Tera and guild wars 2 coming out its going to be hard to handle all those games. The pc community is going to be very split in the next few weeks.

Well said, and I've been feeling conflicted.

I'm going to have to pick and choose, and I've decided that I'm going to put Tera on the backburner and concentrate on Guild Wars 2, Diablo III, and the Secret World (in June). Just too many good games coming out, not enough time (for me).

That will be my trifecta for the foreseeable future, and last a while.

I'm not cool at all with the DRM so D3 is just another game on the growing pile of titles I won't pick up unless/until they're in somebody's $5 sale. They want to sell rental games that's cool, I'll pay rental prices for them...

out. No offline play option, bad initial reviews from beta

In like Flynn. No other game is reuniting so many of my former WoW guildmates like Diablo III. I can't wait to fire up the VoIP and party like we're off to kill Illidan again.

This "everyone" is not buying it.
