I usually look forward to sundays to check out what game is on sale. I have way to many games already but enjoy collecting them and adding them to my library. I dont mind seeing a game I already own on sale but just seeing a terriable sale iteam like this week just bums me out. Not that there arent many other sites out there offering killer deals but still I thought amazon was stepping up .. looks like they didnt even show for the game this week.

They're starting to slow down on their sales. I haven't picked anything up at a decent price on Zon in weeks....

GMG is beating the crap out of their pre-orders too, which is a shame. Last year I bought most of my pre-orders here.

I'd like to see Dark Souls go on sale myself. All the other sites have multiple titles on sale during the weekend which i enjoy browsing. People tend to be collectors and for me its been PC games. Really don't need another game but am always a sucker for a $10 and under game, but not gonna buy crap like this weeks sale. PC gamer this month talks about how steam sales really improve the games sales all around by just the word of mouth buzz about the game. Even when a game goes off sale more people by the game. I bet games that go off sale still catch the eye of those shopping amazon when they see the title listed as a top seller.

Dark Souls is still available for $32 from GMG I think. Activates on Steam.

Otherwise I don't think it's available cheaper yet. Maybe we'll see it show up on a holiday sale.

Thanks so much for the reference to GMG. Honestly never heard of it but checked it out and they have some great prices, esp. on older games. For one such as myself who has little-no $ to play around with, I can use all the help I can get... :)

It's always nice to save some money and still get to play some great games this year.

Keep an eye out on the GMG sales hub thread I have posted here on the PCGF. I try to keep it updated each week. There's a new 25% off everything code that's floating around as well.

Thanks for that heads up!! For me, it is a need to save money - or else I cannot buy games. Long story - but I don't game just for entertainment. Saw that 25% off code. What a great deal. I assume you know about, too?

I never pay full price for a game these days. Too many good deals to be found otherwise.

I personally don't use Amazon unless I can get it cheaper. Steam almost always has the games I want on it, and I prefer to use that platform. Or if I can find it cheaper elsewhere with a Steam activation code. Like GMG

Agreed. If you're willing to hunt around you can really find some great deals.

I found a deal on Borderlands 2 PC for $26.00 that I had to buy. The name of the site escapes me. Was a bit shady, but it worked and I got the full game for half of retail a week after release.

Can't beat that.
