I played the Warhawk demo a few years ago and was going to buy the game, but I never got around to it. It was one of the most fun online experiences i've ever had. Do people still play it online? or would it be an absolute waste to buy it?

Loads of people still play Warhawk online. It's simpler and a better game than it's sequel, Starhawk.

Okay cool. I didn't wanna buy it if nobody played it anymore...

I played the demo for Starhawk, it didn't have the qualities that made me like Warhawk.

Howabout the two SOCOM games or MAG, do people play those?

Odd, I probably liked Starhawk 10 times more than Warhawk.

Be ready to get ripped apart in Warhawk. I used to love the game and want to love it now but with all the veterans on there that know how to tear you a new face ten times over, I just can't keep up with it.

Idk, there was something about Warhawk that set it apart from other third person shooters...Starhawk seemed a lot more generic in comparison

The whole RTS elements should revolutionize all shooter IMO. It's fast and can add a whole new level of strategy.

I thought Warhawk was very unbalanced. Unless you knew how to pilot a hawk, and well, you could pretty much own the game.

It depends on the map. Some maps are a Warhawk pilot's worse nightmare where you can easily stay on foot and shoot them down with rockets and remain in cover (the map with towers is awesome cuz you can snipe folks on the ground or shoot rockets at warhawks & the weapons respawn on the tower so you can stay there as long as you can stay alive). One of the DLC maps is really bad for anyone on the ground... can't recall the name of it, but the spawn point is an awful area with no cover and no rockets. It's a Warhawk pilot's wet dream cuz they can easily spawn kill you over and over again, and it's especially easy if that's the only spawn point left. I avoid that map like the plague.
