I have never purchased a PSN game using amazon, but I'm considering to do it. I have a question about it:

how do you get the download code?

do they send it via email immediately or do I have to wait a couple of days to receive a card with the code delivered to my door?

I'd appreciate you can help me with this

cheers

After you confirm your account and pay, you get your download code right away. Then you can use it or send it as a gift.

Have fun!

cool, that's what I wanted to know

I guess I'll stop using entropay for purchasing on the PSN (well, as long as Amazon have the content I want listed on their site)

thanks for the quick answer ;)

Not only do you get it instantly, but you can avoid that awful sales tax, at least in my tax happy state this works.

New items to the PSN are not avalible right away, it takes a few days for them to show up.

Sales sometimes show up, I bought Lunar off Amazon while it was on sale for $15, that was a great deal.

it takes a few months for things to show up here on the psn amazon. sometimes they don't show up at all.

Probably has to do with the publisher considering Amazon is taking a cut from the sale, and I highly doubt Sony is eating that cost.

Anyone know if it is possible to buy game codes with amazon credit? I've got enough $ on my amazon gift card credit, but it wouldn't let me.

BloodReign says:
well you got to check as part of which promotion you got it from; some credit offered on videogames promotions (like the free $20 you got from preordering Killzone 3) clearly stated that you couldn't use it for amazon video, mp3s, kindle; and practically anything you should download

so maybe you might not be able to use it for it since technically you get a download code for a game, but who knows; you better check with amazon's customer services

Does anybody know if there's a search option to look just for PSP PSN codes? Having to sift trough the entire catalog is tiring.

the other day I bought a $20 psn card directly from amazon and they gave me the code instantly. I put it on my psn account and I was able to buy without problems, much better than buying from a third party selled 'cause amazon sells to the real price
