MisterTee says:
"If you are concerned about the size of the federal government, move to Somalia. They have the smallest federal government in the world. No bloated bureaucracy there! ....If you are concerned about government's role in health care, move to Haiti. The government has no role in health care in that country. ....If you are upset about having elections, move to North Korea. You'll never have to worry about an election again. .....If you are simply upset that your candidate lost the election, move to Russia. They have fake elections there, where the conservative party always wins."

While I don't drink pop, I have to think that you must be drinking pig urine. ;)

Good beer is expensive.

Keep the midwest and the east and west coasts. The south and mountain states can go. Rednecks, religious fundamentalists and would-be cowboys worried about their gun rights.

OK - keep Austin, Texas also. They're pretty liberal and have a great music scene.

Well, after you move to Thailand,...you'll find it's not too good there either.

Nope.

Gonna buy a winter home in Jalisco.

Where the tequila is smooth and sweet, and so are the women.

Where the ceviche is fresh and mouth watering, and so are the women.

Where the climate is wet and hot, and.....;)

So, if you want a limited government, you should move somewhere where there's no government? If you want a smaller government role in healthcare, you should move somewhere where they literally eat dirt because they are so poor? And if you are troubled by the recent elections you should move to a totalitarian society where there are non.

Liberal logic is getting as bad as conservative logic.

There is one good use for cheap beer.

When you're already ripped and taste doesn't matter.

Dang! That's like women too....;)

Compassionate liberals looking down on everyone else because they are so much better then everyone. This is getting very, very tiresome.

The best tequilas are almost impossible to find in Mexico. they are all exported to the US.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 15, 2012 2:05:56 AM PST
Axiomatic!!! says:
Not true.

The small family tequila makers don't export. There are dozens in Jalisco alone that I'd put up against a $600 bottle of Gran Patron any day.

El Baston Del Rey makes an reposado that's smooth as a baby's bottom and an aged anejo that is absolute heaven.

Casanova Noble, Voodoo Tiki, Patron....none of them can hold a candle to it. Not even close.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 15, 2012 2:12:51 AM PST
you are talking about small makers. Very difficult to find even in Mexico. I find it almost impossible to find any anejo outside of the airport shops, but I don't go to Jalisco.

And Patron (any Patron) is not good tequila. Over priced, over hyped swill. I personally like the Don Julios, especially Don Julio 1942.

I've heard they make the best tequila on Diego Garcia - and the women there are very "hot".....

Axiomatic!!! says:
I used to like them both. I don't know if I can go back to them now.

If you ever go to Puerto Vallarta, any cab driver knows the way to El Baston Del Rey. (I think they get a commission for bringing tourists) ;)

It's well worth the 40 minute drive down the coast. I only wished I would have brought more back than my legal 1 litre. I could have had a case in my bag, customs never even looked.

Axiomatic!!! says:
You have to be drunk to go to Diego Garcia. Or so I've been told....

We stay down around Acapulco. Don Julio Reposado is the tequila of choice.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 15, 2012 2:26:49 AM PST
Unless it is made around Tequila, Mexico it is not legally tequila and cannot be called that.

Axiomatic!!! says:
I imagine you can find it in the Puerto Vallarta tequila shops too. Some of them even have tastings of different local brands.

And if you do go, stop by the Margarita Grill. Food and Margaritas to savor.

Axiomatic!!! says:
That's not what I've heard. The qualifier for tequila is that it's 100% Blue Agave.
