as of Yesterday...

A total of 86 ads aired during WABC's online streaming broadcast of The Rush Limbaugh Show yesterday;
77 of those ads were public service announcements donated free of charge by the Ad Council;
Of the nine paid spots that ran, seven were from companies that have said they have taken steps to ensure their ads no longer air during the program;
WABC's online feed included about 5:33 of dead air when ads would normally have run.

And you know this how?

[edit] Oh, of course, you're quoting MediaMatters, a left-wing, George Soros (Nazi collaborator) funded organization run by a crazy man.

Sorry, got a believable source?

I guess we'll see. Those two press releases the Limbaugh show put out, to me, looks like they're worried. If they weren't I don't think that kind of pointed reassurance would be necessary.
I think it's a mistake for example to say that two sponsors are begging to come back but they won't say who, because now everyone wants to know who they are if they do exist and it's going to stick them right in the middle of a big controversary when (and if) they are revealed, and unless they already sell a controversial product like say an affair website, they don't want to be stuck in the middle of that.
I have no idea whether they paid for it or not, but AshleyMadison got some really invaluable product placement in the second press release. They couldn't buy that kind of publicity...well they technically could actually. Most people probably had never heard of them before that.

Rush had every right to say what he said.

We have every right to take appropriate action in response.

You think Media Matters just made it all up? If they did, their many enemies will be able to prove they did that. Think how their credibility will suffer; they'll effectively be put out of business. If you're right and Media Matters just fabricated a big lie about Rush, I'm sure many people are at this minute putting together a big expose article about just what a craven bunch of liars is the staff of Media Matters.

Guess we'll just have to wait and see. I expect the expose within 3 or 4 days.

If, however, MM was being truthful, as I suspect, there will be no revelation of wrong-doing on the part of the media watchdog. Let me know when the expose comes out, Dubya. I'll be holding my breath.

I posted this in another thread but it bears repeating, Forget Fluke and Oxy and dozens of other reasons. If you want the real reason why Rush should never poison our airwaves again, check this story out-

Truth be told Rush should be able to say whatever he wants to under his first amendment rights, but this is really despicable.

I sure am glad you know so much! I listened to Rush yesterday and guess what, he was running national ad after national ad, as well as the local station wasn't short of any local ads during his show. I guess Media-matters is full of feces.

"Lord's Resistance Army are Christians. They are fighting the Muslims in Sudan. And Obama has sent troops, United States troops to remove them from the battlefield, which means kill them,"-Rush Limbaugh

"So far, two fans of the LRA"

Who is the other one?

M. Emrich says:
I would assume that you were not one of them. I had two no votes on the post about Kony and the LRA so I assume they must feel that raping women, selling them in the sex trade and kidnapping and drugging children so they will kill people is a good thing.

That's the thing about dittoheads....If Rush says it's good they don't question him.

Did you watch the video? The possibilites of using the net not only as a shouting board to get information out, but as a means to get things done which effect everyone no matter what side of the aisle you are on, really is much welcomed. April 20 is Kony day. This may be the start of something bigger than whatever is bantered about on talk radio on any given day

Today i heard an interview and a bunch of Rush's advertisers all claim that their ads were on his show by Mistake.

I think Rush May be LYING about not letting advertisers back, what do you think????
