Why does Brown hate poor people?!?! Where is the outrage from you liberals?

Let me know when you liberals will demand that he not cut nearly $1Trillion from welfare and increase taxes on those evil millionaires and billionaires instead.

C. Batty says:
Tax increases in Cali require a vote, brain trust.

Also, he is cutting 1.4 BILLION--not even close to a trillion--in welfare while asking for 9.6 BILLION in increased taxes.

Why would we be outraged at a 4 to 1 ratio in new taxes and cuts?

C. Batty -- "Tax increases in Cali require a vote".... I see so the liberal coast overall doesnt care about poor people?? Is that what you are saying? Interesting. Hope you are right because that would make CA flip to the good side.

I am curious though... You support cutting social programs? I dont care about ratio to tax increases. You think its ok to cut social program spending. That's a step forward. Remember that when we dont just propose it, but actually cut it. No more videos about republicans not caring about old people and children.

The problem with your theory is it's very unlikely Gov. Brown is going to get his tax increase. Then we'll see.

C. Batty says:
All the same, his proposed budget strikes a good balance.

So cutting spending on poor people is ok. Gotcha.

It is when you raise taxes on the very wealthy 4 times as much.

Oh, he doesn't. He likely came across this little tidbit on Freerepublic or some
half-arsed 'liberty' blog and he is just parroting it as some sort of infantile gotcha.

C. Batty -- Interesting. You would cut from poor people as long as you also raise tax on the rich. This means you would not support raising taxes even more on those evil rich people but not cut anything from poor people?

Liberals keep saying that the poor cant afford any cuts, not a penny. Wonder why the gov didnt start off by only wanting to increases taxs the evil rich people and leaving the 'poor' people alone. Again, why does Brown hate poor people?

Along those same lines,,, Chicago teachers want 30% raises but Rahm is saying no. Why does the liberal mayor hate teachers? Funny how its ok for liberals to cut welfare and say no to unions, but not for conservatives.

C. Batty says:
I would absolutely support tax increases alone, but I am not a conservative, so I understand the need for compromise.

C. Batty says:
That's because you want to gut programs that serve the poor to give free yachts to the wealthy.
