It must be PTSD.

Once soldiers get hooked on adrenaline from near disasters and near death, they will sometimes continue to seek out such situations.

Mittens, with the continuation of Bush policies that took us into two unfunded wars, a near depression, elimination of many regulations that protect Americans, etc, is probably just the ticket to continue with the adrenaline and fear that comes from always being right on the edge of disaster.

ROMNEY SET TO HAVE ENOUGH DELEGATES TO WIN THE GOP NOMINATION
Romney currently has 1,064 delegates, out of 1,144 needed to win the GOP nomination. Texas's primary today (155 delegates) should put him over the top to win the nomination.

Texas had Early Voting last week, so the totals should be more accurate than just Exit Polls when the Texas polls close at 7PM (Central Time).

NEW GALLUP POLLS SAYS VETERANS FAVOR ROMNEY (58%) OVER OBAMA (34%)

You know an incumbent's campaign for re-election is in trouble when you start reading articles comparing him and his Republican opponent, as having both attended the prestigious Harvard Law School:

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/06/03/us/politics/intersecting-worlds-of-romney-and-obama.html?ref=us

CANDIDATES HAVE COLLEGE, SPICY CHICKEN AND 'STAR TREK' IN COMMON
It's when you get to page two of this article in today's NY Times that the snarky pro-Obama propaganda is revealed:

"Mr. Obama, meanwhile, dived deep into the ramifications of law in society. He volleyed big ideas as editor of The Harvard Law Review, protested for a more diverse faculty at the school and spoke disparagingly of those he viewed as more concerned with making money than improving the world."

... who was unable to translate those "big ideas" into decent grades, or even a biography - for which he took five-figure advances from publishers - until his well-connected radical bud Bill Ayers finally ghost-wrote the dang bio for him.

And "disparaging of those he viewed more concerned with making money than improving the world" sure served Obama well speaking about "transparency" and helping the little people in his campaign speeches to get elected. The truth is that he's been on Judicial Watch's yearly "Ten Most Corrupt Government Officials" every year since 2007 - two years before he got to turn the White House into Graft Central.

And he's certainly working on "improving the world" with endless campaign fund-raisers - while he dumps more long-term unemployed off the unemployment rolls to soften the latest unemployment figures.

The end of the article even spins on how Michelle Obama and Ann Romney are so much alike - NOT!

Although it's amusing to think that Team Obama has to stoop to comparing the corrupt and greedy Obamas to the successful and more upstanding Romneys - thru the one link of Harvard Law School - there are still gulfs of differences between them. Start with Wrong and Right, Evil and Good.

RE: I seriously doubt that term could be applied to anything having to do with our Thug In Chief.

If Obama is a thug, it's funny that you have so much in common with him.....albeit on a miniscule scale in your case.

I mean, you've put yourself in contention for the title of "head thug" of the forum recently. Your propaganda machine appears to be working overtime. You make a "sterling" thug even if no one knows it except for a few people here.

I have never been on Judicial Watch's "Ten Most Corrupt Government Officials" list - and I won't vote for anyone who has. Does that make me a thug pointing out that Obama's made the list 5 years running? To most reasonable people, that would be called "exercising my conscience".

But, hey, I understand. You Obamabots have got nothing but vitriol, lies and spin going for you to protect and explain our Corrupter-In-Charge. Maybe you'll even learn a few things before you rush blindly to vote Democratic again.

Star Trek Visions of Law and Justice (Law, Crime and Corrections)
This would mean nothing to Trekker Obama.

RE: To most reasonable people, that would be called "exercising my conscience".

To most reasonable people, you're a troll. For all of your thousands of posts, only a few whackos here have ever given you any support. No one else.

RE: You Obamabots have got nothing but vitriol....

Perfect example of your trolling. Assumes facts not in evidence and projects loudly. Everything you post is of the same (lack of) quality.

LATEST RASMUSSEN POLL FINDS ROMNEY MORE POLITICALLY MAINSTREAM
52% of likely voters find Romney's views as "mainstream", while only 45% of likely voters think Obama's ideas are "mainstream".

Only 30% of likely voters thought Romney's views were "extreme" - while 45% thought Obama's views were "extreme".

The only "rethinking" anyone needs to do about Romney is why on earth anyone would have voted for the milquetoast mormon in the first place.

He is just a corporate shill out to pave the way for corporations to basically own their workers.

electronics guy -

So I take it you are still planning to vote for one of the most corrupt Presidents to ever pollute the White House?

https://www.judicialwatch.org/corrupt-politicians-lists/washingtons-ten-most-wanted-corrupt-politicians-for-2011/
TEN MOST CORRUPT POLITICIANS FOR 2011
Obama #6 - Making this the fifth consecutive year he's appeared on this list - from two years before he got to the White House (2007) and 'Dishonorable Mention in 2006'.

DoJ's Eric Holder was #4. With DHS' Janet Napolitano, Sec. of Health and Human Svcs. Kathleen Sebelius, and Nancy Pelosi on the 'Dishonorable Mentions for 2011' Sub-list.

Doesn't this rampant corruption bother you, e-guy? Do you just not believe it?

Romney is vastly more experienced (successful businessman and state governor), and has NEVER been on these corruption lists. The choice is clear - and stark.

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 5, 2012 3:17:00 PM PDT
How weird that a conservative organization would name liberals as corrupt.

Oh well, I'm sure there is nothing up there.
