no it isn't. It's just as prevalent as righties getting voted down.

I have this terrible situation wherein I buy socks with characters on them, then if I have to throw one out because of a hole, I'm filled with remorse due to my anthropomorphization of everything.

You can always keep it in the drawer, in case you need it later.

I've started to. It was a pivotal, emotional evening.

Don't you and THPP laugh at this, but if you have single socks or shoes(in great shape, mind you....we often get single samples at the university of new styles to come) you can donate to a local hospital if they have a physical rehab program....they can always use them in house....

I get all Punky Brewster with my socks, but that is seriously great to know! Thanks Top :)

If you ever can't find a use for something that's still got potential, you get in touch with me:)lol
(All joking aside, we used to get in so many single shoes that were brand new, and hated to toss them. The single socks just seemed to fit into the scheme of things....most hospitals really can use them:--especially the extra cool singles....:)

I don't think they'd want my shoes for physical rehab. I tend to wear heels.

That is good to know. Maybe I will just start donating new socks -- they're not so expensive.

Ya know, I haven't worn anything but flats and my Earth shoes for almost a year, and the other day I put on some wedges and felt like Bambi! So maybe for certain things -- they take some skill!

Maybe not, but I know you have great shoes....I'm sure there's a home for that single sexy thing somewhere if its mate goes missing....:)

Lol.

These shoes that balance you differently? Not sure. I bought them at a thrift shop because I thought they were vegan. They're not, but they work for waitressing!

Sounds like a good name for hemp sandals, lol. Are they comfortable?

In reply to an earlier post on May 27, 2012 10:27:25 AM PDT
They are! And lol I know, that's what I thought they were, or some variation.

Oh, man that is ugly.

Look at the one that says "1970s."

Would they be good for walking in grass, where the ground isn't always even?

They were really really ugly, but amazingly comfortable...we all wore them...

Congrats! (Sorry about the shoes, though.) Are you going to the reunion?
