Axiomatic!!! says:
Perhaps you can explain the words of FDR or Wilson when they admitted that the US government was owned by the bankers? Ike's warning of the MIC? JFK's speech on secret societies?

When you understand how a central bank operates along with fractional reserve banking, it doesn't take long to come to the conclusion that a very small few have been fleecing us for centuries.

David Rockefeller has said that a one world government was the agenda, run by bankers. That is what I think of when I hear NWO. Warburg, Lindberg, Aldrich...there is a plethora of information on them, but yes, you do have to be careful of much of it. Alex Jones is not a reputable source....as I'm sure you know.

Of course they've been fleecing us for centuries, what intelligent person could think not? Question is, what can one do about it, if anything?

Btw, Kennedy was warning against opposing the communist threat by using the same methods of secrecy, suppression and subversion. If you think he was warning about "secret societies" running America, please cite what he said.

Here is a link to his speech in 1961 that some groups rely on:
http://archive.org/details/jfks19610427

It states in pertinent part:
The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and to secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweighed the dangers which are cited to justify it. Even today, there is little value in opposing the threat of a closed society by imitating its arbitrary restrictions. Even today, there is little value in insuring the survival of our nation if our traditions do not survive with it. And there is very grave danger that an announced need for increased security will be seized upon by those anxious to expand its meaning to the very limits of official censorship and concealment. That I do not intend to permit to the extent that it is in my control. And no official of my Administration, whether his rank is high or low, civilian or military, should interpret my words here tonight as an excuse to censor the news, to stifle dissent, to cover up our mistakes or to withhold from the press and the public the facts they deserve to know.

But I do ask every publisher, every editor, and every newsman in the nation to reexamine his own standards, and to recognize the nature of our country's peril. In time of war, the government and the press have customarily joined in an effort based largely on self-discipline, to prevent unauthorized disclosures to the enemy. In time of "clear and present danger," the courts have held that even the privileged rights of the First Amendment must yield to the public's need for national security.

Today no war has been declared--and however fierce the struggle may be, it may never be declared in the traditional fashion. Our way of life is under attack. Those who make themselves our enemy are advancing around the globe. The survival of our friends is in danger. And yet no war has been declared, no borders have been crossed by marching troops, no missiles have been fired.

If the press is awaiting a declaration of war before it imposes the self-discipline of combat conditions, then I can only say that no war ever posed a greater threat to our security. If you are awaiting a finding of "clear and present danger," then I can only say that the danger has never been more clear and its presence has never been more imminent

and here is a bit more on the alleged speeche the week before he was murdered

the current e.u. will self destruct and end up with ten strong countries

india will not be a world power
china will run into the limitations that the usa did economically
africa will never be anything more than a source of raw materials

we may have several big regions/countries fighting over economy and resources

that is what leads to the antichrist to be put in power to solve the problems of the world supported by the smaller EU with backing from the RCC

Suet says:
Thank you, Leonard, but I doubt if they will take it in.
They'll just go on chanting: "JFK warned about secret societies!"
It's kind of an article of faith.

I don't think primarily Protestant countries (such as Germany) will be backed by the RCC.

LOL, in centuries past, yes. Nowadays they have more problems fighting off pro-choice advocates and cover-ups of child molestation by clergy.

"Those papists are pretty sneaky ... ;) "

Yeah, they even have those secret deals with the Rothschilds and all those uh Jewish bankers that some folk like to go on about.

No, this was after Gorbachev turned into a good guy. Or a traitor, depending on your p.o.v.
[My point of view is not that limlited. Gorbachev didn't turn into anything. The USSR didn't have the resources to maintain their huge totalitarianistic empire - especially with the arms race. Gorbachev just did what was best for his country, regardless of ideology]

Hey Leonard, I had you figured for one of the less crazy 'truthers'! You once said that 9/11 truthism is the only conspiracy theory you believe in. Now it turns out that you believe in Satanic/NWO/Masonic conspiracy and heaven knows what else.
[Yes, i do remember saying something along those lines. My memory was that i said i didn't believe other conspiracy theories espoused on that thread, such as Jewish bankers run the world. But i do understand if your personal estimation of me has been reduced.

I also believe in UFOs. But if you're going to try "debunk" it with much more than "he, he, he, ho, ho, ho, isn't he crazy", you're going to have to go up against the statements of astronauts and air force pilots who have seen them]

How do you feel about chemtrails?
[IDK what they are. Do you really want to get me started? ;-) ]

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 14, 2012 7:44:07 AM PDT
So far, 3 of 4 agree with you. But if you use the word "conspiracy", probably 3 of 4 will DISagree with you!

Just because you can't reach a conclusion doesn't mean everyone else is crazy.

sorry, but that is gibberish.

P.S. No, your horse can go.

I know you're only joking, but...Africa? For the place where supposedly humanity began, one would think they would have figured out how to create a peaceful transfer of power by now. Instead, they have armies of prepubescents with assault rifles! Good plan.

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 14, 2012 7:56:00 AM PDT
The fleecing is the least of it. For example, if war is simply for profit, a soldier would be better off as a mercenary than a patriot. You would know what you are getting into, and you would be better paid.

I old enough, do you remember when the soldiers in the Gulf War were handed out "Why we are here" cards. Incredible. It should be fiction.

As you are "on loan" from the latest - and every - 9/11 thread, were it not of the winky face you provided, i would endeavor to give you hell for that one! ;-)

Here is a citation:
http://www.thepowerhour.com/news3/jfk_speech_transcript.htm

"Secret societies" is that exact phrase that Kennedy used, as part of the full phrase, "secret societies, secret oaths, and secret proceedings".

It makes no sense to conclude that Kennedy was referring to Communism, since Communism is not a secret society.

Well, what Bush I, Gorbachev et al. SAID they meant by it was a new era of international cooperation, peace and prosperity. Course they would say that, wouldn't they? We smarties know better!

Did you know that the Mexican Army invaded the US in 2010? It was part of the NWO master plan.

The MSM covered it up, of course. We had to rely on Alex Jones for the real story.
