Obama brought his kids into it when he called Ms. Flukester.
He made it an issue.
You can't apologize to some and not others...right?

Shoot I just lost a post due to the quote.

No president has done everything I wished for & Obama is no different. He uses drones & I think it's murder. But compared to GW... well you know. I wish Obama would get us out of the ME completely & let them settle their own issues. We can't be the world police.
The republicans vowed they'd see Obama fail & they seem to be following thru on that threat. They block appointments. They set an agreement line & then back out. They seemed to cheer when the car companies were in trouble & seem to hope they still fail even tho that would mean job loss & damage to our economy. Etc etc etc.

But this last thing on Cee Lo? Really? Those girls are going to see & hear worse. Michelle & Obama can use it as an opportunity to talk about what is appropriate & when. Something Cee Lo seems to have missed out on.

But while you're pointing fingers, look at this I found in my search for whether the girls were there or not. (changing some letters so it will post this time)

Libertarian! Socialist! Patriot! Fryfan! says: :I would love to take money out of the presidental race. Debates & news interviews (equal time) are how we get to know our candidates"

We have federal funding of presidential elections. The idea was so the candidates will have the same amount to spend and cannot take private contributions. McCain took only the $80 million federal funding in 2008 but Obama refused the money which meant he could accept private donations and was not limited to the amount he spent.

Obama said: "I don't know what's in Rush Limbaugh's heart, so I'm not going to comment on the sincerity of his apology," Obama said. "What I can comment on is the fact that all decent folks can agree that the remarks that were made don't have any place in the public discourse."

And then he had a fundraiser where the "entertainer" sang some rap crap that included repeated mentions of the F-bomb and flipping off the audience.

Don't you get tired of Obama's hypocrisy?

>>Again, please remember, Obama made language that disrespected women a HUGE issue....>>>

If a third party had been on Rush Limbaugh's show & said what Rush had said, then you could perhaps compare it.

But as it is, public radio fool talking about someone who chose to testify before congress on policy vs a rapper at a private home? Seems to be different issues.

I don't like rap language so I don't listen. I doubt Obama hears much of it either.

& shoe in is incorrect. But keep using it if you wish to. :) The phrase is foot in the door, not shoe in the door & the best guess answer on yahoo doesn't seem the best source to go by.

Who said Obama wasn't offended?

I agree with you about rap. Many rappers were raised in he11 holes so they see life thru that lense. I thank my lucky stars I grew up in the country.

Let's talk about things that really matter.

"As stated by ABC News, Press Secretary Jay Carney, for the White House, did not say anything negative about Cee Lo Green when he was on a radio show. Instead Carney revealed to reporters that President Obama is "a fan" of Cee Lo Green and probably has some of his songs on his iPod.

"I think he might," Carney said of listening to Cee Lo's music. "I know he's a fan." "

So if Obama was at a fundraiser and a bunch of Commies praised him, that would be OK, because it was a private Communist party. Is that right?

Don't be silly, some Democrat thought it would be great to have a filth spewing phat thug in a day-glo jumpsuit as a draw for donations. Since felons are a Democrat base group, I can understand them being interested in Cee Lo, but why would anybody else think it was appropriate to have him "perform"?

No birth control and censor those rappers. What is this 1985?

WASHINGTON - Republican John McCain is asking donors to give far in excess of what they can contribute to him directly, even as he is limited to taking only public funds for the fall campaign.
McCain's fundraising is legal because the money he is asking for does not come straight to him. He is collecting funds for federal and state GOP committees that will aid his White House bid. Donors can give a total of nearly $70,000 to these committees, far in excess of the $2,300 individuals can give directly to a candidate.

They can contribute to him directly for the nomination, not the election. Independent spending by other groups cannot be limited due to free speech and is carried on equally by both parties.
