Part of the dream act is college or military - you have to have schooling in order to even qualify.

We don't have the Dream Act.

Why don't socialists respect any laws?

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 19, 2012 6:47:04 AM PDT
Okay.

Follow the conversation. I said I support Obama and his path to give people full citizenship through the DREAM Act. Happy Geezer was yelling about making people citizens so I was defending the principals behind the DREAM act - you came in and asked a question on one of those posts so I referred to the DREAM Act.

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 19, 2012 6:48:01 AM PDT
That is why I said he supports it!

You are not following along are you?

Teabagger vik said:

I wonder why he stopped at work permits only. Under the messiah's sick twisted plan I'm sure he will grant them voting rights too in the next election. After all he thinks he has the power to do as he wants. Heck, maybe he will cancel elections and decree himself king of the USA.

Oh I cant wait until CIA makes him squeal.

You replied with a later post

Libertarian! Socialist! Patriot! Fryfan! says:
He supports the DREAM Act. Damn right if they are going to live and work in this country they should get the right to vote

Not until they are legal citizens. Do socialists respect no laws?

Happy Geezer says:
The dream act is not a law.

So follow along HG - I was stating that Obama supports the DREAM act as a way to make them citizens - that is why we have elections we can vote for Obama who supports the DREAM act or vote for Romney whose idea is to make permanent second classes of citizens.

I as a libertarian can not support someone that wants to set up a working class set of people with no representation right for their tax dollars.

If you say that one more time it will magically become the clever gotcha you think it is. So close! Believe in yourself!

Aren't you able to pay attention?

Why did he say last year it was illegal for him to do this? What in the Constitution has changed since then? Or is he just another political flip flopper?

I see you are afraid to answer. An admission you don't support obeying laws?

In reply to an earlier post on Jun 19, 2012 8:50:15 AM PDT
Happy Geezer says:
He did this without getting a law passed. He said last year he could not legally do what he has done. What has changed in the mind of your flip flopper in chief?

He did not implement the DREAM act - he still supports it as part of his second term agenda.

He is issuing work permits. The DREAM act is a path to citizenship. They are not the same thing, please try to keep up.

Legal immigration is a path to citizenship.

If I turn off the TV, He's still president.
For now.

The dream act was filibustered in Congress by a Republican. That is why it is not law.

Yes, because if there's one thing I know about Castro, it's that he was all about issuing work permits to immigrants. Wait what?

Happy Geezer thinks that people who were born over here and know no other way of life ought to deport themselves back to wherever their parents said they came from! What if he found out he was illegal. Would he deport himself? I think not! This is the conservative CRAP that dominates politics these days! UNBELIEVEABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
