Tony Bruno says:
Just insult everybody who doesn't agree with him.

Looks like he learned nothing from this election.

Ice King says:
Could you give us some examples? I was looking forward to hearing his nonsense today but I couldn't get out of work in time.

I plan to listen to my local wingnut show on the way home though. Especially considering the guy HATED Elizabeth Warren. I can't wait to hear him snivelling about that.

his family were slave holders

or, considering his treatment of his "help"

remains slave holders

Posted on Nov 7, 2012 10:05:16 AM PST
Did he call anyone a "slut" again?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 7, 2012 10:10:59 AM PST
It has nothing to do with the validity or lack thereof of what he says. It has to do with how big an audience he can get. The bigger the audience, the more advertisers want to advertise on his program, the more the station can charge for the ads, etc.

His message has been selected to maximize the audience, not for validity. He may believe what he's saying, but the reason for his success is not the validity or lack thereof but the fact that he says the kinds of things that keep people listening, for whatever reason (agreement, shock, laughter, disgust, whatever).

Tony Bruno says:
"Obama is Santa Claus to all of THOSE people"

Of course Limbaugh said the same thing about Clinton for 8 years.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 7, 2012 10:24:25 AM PST
Hannity is on the only talk radio station around here during my drive home. Should be an interesting show.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 7, 2012 10:26:21 AM PST
I guess he can drop the "Stop Obama Express" line.

Or maybe not. May he'll just reinterpret it as "keep him from doing anything he wants to do for the next 4 years".

Why doesn't the drugster run for office - just asking...

The Weasel says:
I listened to the open. He said he thought all the exit polls were total BS. But, the funny part was he also named Rice, Rubio, and someone esle as "up from nothing" minorities that show how the Republican party is inclusive to minorities.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 7, 2012 10:30:11 AM PST
Don't forget Herman Cain and Alan West. I was about to say Colin Powell but they have a few issues with him......

Tony Bruno says:
Yes, Weasel. Limbaugh is already pushing Rubio as the house hispanic who's going to make the right-wing latino groovy. Pathetic.

Listening to Rush now...

It's the Dems fault...
They are catering to those who want to destroy America

Bubba says:
Are they still sore at Colin Powell for endorsing Obama?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 7, 2012 10:42:04 AM PST
Agree. Like women, young people, Latinos, and African Americans. It's clear that the 50% of voters who voted for Obama want to destroy America. Why? Because they're all zombies programmed by the (fill in the blanks) ready to be activated by robocalls with the code words "Hope and Change".

Suggestions for filling in the blanks: Muslims, socialists, Chinese, immigrants, terrorists, Marxists, aliens.

It appears Christie is this weeks boogie man.

freedom4all says:
Do you people think that any talk radio show or any TV news show is about the truth?

That is as silly as thinking by voting every two years on who is to be a 'don' and every 4 years on who is going to 'godfather', you are free.

The illusion of freedom is far easier to sell than freedom itself.

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 7, 2012 10:46:30 AM PST
How can you do that. Hannity is bad, but Rush I just have to turn the channel on, and I am fairly conservative. The guy thinks he is God's gift to mankind and is going to tell us about if for a good part of his show. And anyone who can call themselves a "ditto head" is just lost.

Hurricane says:
What Christie did was "unforgivable"...
He is floating the idea that he may be the cause of Romney losing.

People actually eat this stuff up?

Hurricane says:
Hi Dan,

I never listen to the guy. But today is a good day to measure. It's pretty clear to most of us as to why Romney lost.
Can the GOP look in the mirror and see where they need to change?
Rush is mocking moderate republicans for wanting to be "inclusive".

Evidently not.

Tony Bruno says:
The right is the cancer on the GOP. Could this be the election cycle the GOP cuts the cancer out?

In reply to an earlier post on Nov 7, 2012 11:05:23 AM PST
Ice King says:
That would be nice. The reasonable Republicans actually have some good ideas, and it's always wise to have two sides to things but this insane right wing definitely needs to go. If they can get rid of them maybe they won't be such a joke.
