John M. Lane says:
It's time for all Americans to unite behind President Obama. We've got to save the Twinkie!

Obama saved GM, now he MUST nationalize the Twinkie! An America without Twinkies, Ho-Ho's, and Ding-Dong's is just too horrible to contemplate!

Went to the store this morning, and they had a run on Hostess products. That's what happens when you leave the price the same, the hoarders show up.

Twinkies are a great choice, as they will last about 20 years without refrigeration.

Twinkies have great endurance, Al. That's one of the things that makes them vital to our national security.

Remember when they changed "Ding Dongs" to "King Dongs" once they realized that the former was the make you-know-what...

We used to make mush balls out of the bread - another method among the many we learned to drive mom crazy

Forget Twinkies. Go for Nestles Crunch bars, Reeses Peanut Butter cups and Twix bars.

As far as Wonder Bread, skip it and go for Country Hearth English Muffin Toasting Bread -- it's awesome !

I am sure someone will buy the rights to Twinkies and keep on making those sodding things. Don't worry about it.

How can you "not worry" about the death of a vital, American institution, venussansfurs? The sun won't come up tomorrow without Twinkies to help it along.

I hate them! Just like green eggs and ham. You may want to buy the Twinkies recipe yourself and start your own biz if you like them so much. ;o)

Somehow, I really don't believe that's what those 18,000 former employees and their families are thinking. But they do thank you for your compassion.

Supply and demand, Tony! You'd better get them quickly, or they'll be $1000 by midnight.

Au contraire, I got laid off myself, I know exactly what they're thinking.
