There are no democrats or republicans, liberals or conservatives, red or blue, fascists or marxists.
Red/blue does not exist. #c535+1 is a singular schizophrenic political party. Red/blue is a smokescreen.
The body politic is simply middle income America and two significant extreme fringes, the desperate poor and the wealthy elite.
The middle America paradigm is not a political-philosophical paradigm. It is a political-economic paradigm.

Marxist/Socialist/Democrat/Liberal-- are they not all the same ?"

Actually the way you geniuses constantly throw around terms like marxist, socialist, communist, fascist, statist, nazi, and probably several others that I'm forgetting, it's pretty obvious you don't even know what any of them mean, you just use them as a cheap pejorative.

Who knew? So with Marxism you can take care of the needy AND become the richest person in the world. What were we afraid of again?

You have no idea what Marxism is. Karl Marx woud be rolling his eyes.

RichDA says:
Well who can argue with that? You read two books?

Karl Marx didn't fear capitalism. Karl Marx viewed capitalism as a natural step in the evolution of socialism. He predicted that greed of the elites taking more and more wealth while the working class earn less would lead to a backlash. Somehow I think the backlash that Marx had in mind was more than having the wealthy pay their fair share in taxes.

There are many varieties of Marxism. You left out Chico and Harpo.

Funny! Typical liberal avoidance tactic. Don't bother reading any further - it might be traumatic...

Let's start with #1. Where do you think you see abolition of private land ownership, Wease?

Liberal huh? You seem to have a pattern of jumping to a hasty conclussion. What point are you trying to make in regards to the excerpt?

I can't find a single mention of "democracy". Did I miss one?
Was this written before the American 1790 revolution or afterwards without knowledge if it?

"JKW says:
Cheap? Cheap??"

Yes, cheap. When you just throw out words without consideration for context or even meaning, but merely because you're mimicking some right-wing pundit (whose sole purpose is making money off of gullible morons who will repeat anything they say), then it's a cheap pejorative. Reading some of the posts on these boards I feel like we're reading a game of conservative mad-libs, low IQ edition.

"Let's start with #1. Where do you think you see abolition of private land ownership, Wease?"

When you are forced to buy your powerbase, rather than direct revolution, the order of your goals must necessarily be prioritized. For now, simply taxing and regulating the land use is sufficient. The windows of opportunity move from "not possible right now" to "time is right" to "agenda item accomplished."

We're not in a revolution - we're in a soft tyranny. The velvet gloves come off later...

Yes, liberal brain-washing does give some that impression. It's called a superiority complex.
