Excellent! I DO remember, even remembered some of the lyrics! And do you remember NBC's 'answer' show, 'Captain Nice'? The title character's name was actually Carter Nash, so 'CN' and had that personalized belt buckle...thus the explanation when someone asked him what the initails stood for...great stuff!

There are a lot. I used to get a kick out of the Beverly Hillbillies theme (believe it's called The Ballad of Jed Clampett). That was probably my favorite. Also, I think the quiet, calm piano at the end of The Incredible Hulk from the 70s really fit the premise of the show. I remember it being very soothing, and fit perfectly to the sad plight of a man who had to constantly keep moving as a result of his rage and anger. Not all TV themes have to hit hard to make an impact.

ok.. a few of my faves were already mentioned like Believe it Or Not from The Greatest American Hero, Josie & The Pussycats, Welcome Back Kotter, GI Joe, Hong Komg Phoey. But now I'll add a few, Buffy The Vampire Slayer by Nerf Herder, Catharsis of Suffering by Darling Violetta the theme for Angel, Transformers is always another pleaser.
I've always loved Puff The Magic Dragon, Fraggle Rock, Jem & The Holograms - Only The Beginning, Joss Whedon, Sonny Rhodes - Ballad of Serenity (Firefly theme), Starblazers Theme Song (Iscandar), and a oldie Rin Tin Tin.

Possibly already mentioned, but I'm absolutely crazy about Donny Hathaway singing the theme to "Maude."

And the theme for the long forgotten Seventies sitcom "Angie" is a dinky little disco number called "Different Worlds" done by Maureen McGovern that I still have on 45. It actually cracked the Billboard Top Twenty. Ahhhh...the 70's....gotta love it.

Used to have that Maureen McGovern song on 45 myself. During a lean period, I ended up getting rid of it, but not before putting it on a cassette. Still listen to it occasionally. And yes, I still love it, too.
