Seeking a source for staples or nails for my Sears Craftsman Electric Power Stapler Model # 193.684710. An alternate model number is 9_68479. This unit was manufactured by Parker Manufacturing for Sears prior to 1987.
Thanks for any help offered.

Rick, could you look at exploded view for me ?
Or maybe take picture of page and email ?

I have same stapler and cannot find my manual. I found copies of exploded diagrams at
http://www.searspartsdirect.com/partsdirect/retrieveModelAction!retrieve.action?modelNumber=193.684710 .
I took apart and pieces of shattered plastic internally. Below the big barrel , I have only a steel washer, and items 5 and 6 are vague in photo. I assume - I have a washer so I have the "thrust washer" - and need item called "Bumper assembly ". Since all I have is shattered plastic can you describe /email me info about - what it looks like and WHERE should it be. The online picture shows a line where it goes - but I can't tell from online copy.
Thanks.

I have a Craftsman Electric Power Stapler Model # 193.684710. It appeared to be completly locked up. It wold not make any noise when I pulled the trigger. I took it apart and found that the grease on the Plunger assembly had turned to tar and that the rubber Bumper assembly has rotted out. I cleaned up the tar and lubed the plunger with light grease. I removed what was left of the rubber bumper and reassembled. It works great now.
