I have an Alto Fabric Cutting System (QuiltCut2) for sale. I am asking $175 plus shipping. It is virtually brand new. I've only used it once.

What is the web site? I have one from my mother's estate, but not sure if I have all the parts. I am looking to sell this. I know that I am missing the mat and the video, but I have the board, the frame that holds the fabric and the stabilized cutting guide.

I would love to hear what you thought about the unit

It was from my mother's estate and so I had no clue about its functionality. However, it sold quite easily on EBay as other quilters apparently recognized its usefulness.

I bought mine a few years ago on Ebay. Just keep looking and I'm sure you'll find one. Also try CraigsList which lists local items for free and for sale. I got mine, new in a box with all parts, paperwork and video for $100.00. I also have trouble with my hands and cutting with templates. This makes fabric cutting a dream. You can cut up to 8 layers of fabric at a time. It's a real time saver. I've been able to cut out a 102" x 102" quilt pieces in a couple of hours. Hope you have luck finding one. I just found out about these Community Discussion Web Links on Amazon.com today. I love Amazon. Buy the majority of my books through them, frequently for less when used. An ideal site for those who have trouble getting out and about.

Good Luck!

Yes, I do. I'm looking for the video, but it may be lost in my move. The movers were gorilla's and broke what they didn't lose. The Altos site has a demo that pretty much is the same as the video. Check it out here: http://www.quiltcut.com/online_demo_flash.html

Hi Joan,
I'm sorry but the Altos QuiltCut2 is on its way to its new home. Good luck in finding one of your own.

Jan, I just logged on and saw your post. I am an Alto's Quilt Cut -2 rep & have sold many units to quilters who were having to quit quilting or have someone else do their cutting for them. If you have not already purchased an item, e-mail me at star619@bellsouth.net. I can answer any questions or even direct you to a vidoe that demonstrates the product. Take care. Debbie Stair
