I have never read Karen Hawkins, but she has a book coming out this summer with my FAVORITE regency romance model on the cover - Ben Whitaker. If anyone has read this author, please let me know who she is comparable to... I love Kleypas, Julia Ann Long, Jennifer Ashley, Victoria Dahl, Eloisa James, Julie Quinn, etc. Hopefully, she has a little heat in her books!

Karen Hawkins is a great author. I think u will like her. I am also a fan of Quinn, Kleypas, Long and James. I think her writing is similar to their styles. Her writing is light and witty. Her stories are not as intense as Kleypas. You can start with her Maclean brothers series which is quite popular. She also has a new series out the Hurst Amulet series. Her books have romance, a little adventure and are entertaining. I have read some of the Maclean series and found it enjoyable. If you like witty romances like Julia Quinn, a new author that has come out is Kieran Kramer, her books are entertaining as well and laugh out loud funny. Overall, I think u should give Karen a try, I think u will enjoy her books. Good luck and Happy Reading!

I've read the Abduction/Seduction series and the Talisman Ring series. I really loved those books. To me she is like Suzanne Enoch, great characters and great humor.

I also have read the Julia books, Talisman and Maclean series. Must confess that I have also started the new Amulet series and am looking forward to the second in that series, I believe it comes out in the summer. I enjoy her writing and really liked the books.
